Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What Allah has declared lawful in His Book is lawful, what He has declared unlawful is unlawful, and those things about which He has remained silent are pardoned. So accept Allah’s pardon, for your Lord is not forgetful." (Surah Maryam 64).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If the child cries (after birth), then he will be made an heir."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah and Sayyiduna Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with them), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "As long as the (newborn) child does not cry, he is not made an heir. His crying is that he screams, sneezes, or weeps."

The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever a person becomes Muslim at his hand, he will be his ally." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah, Sayyiduna Tamim Dari, and Sayyiduna Rashid (may Allah be pleased with them).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qais bin Asim (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fulfill the agreements that were made in the time of ignorance, and in Islam, no such agreement will be effective (that makes someone an heir without reason)."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every ruler has two confidants: one confidant commands him to do good and forbids him from evil, and the other leaves no stone unturned in bringing about his destruction and ruin. The ruler who is saved from the evil of the latter is indeed protected, and he is the one who prevails."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“The example of the person who establishes the limits set by Allah and the one who falls into them and neglects them is like a group of people who boarded a ship. They drew lots for (the upper and lower parts of) the ship; some of them sat on the upper deck and some on the lower deck. When the people of the lower deck needed water, they would go up and pass by those above, which the upper deck people disliked. (In one narration it is stated: When the people of the lower deck climbed up to get water, water would spill on the people above, so the people of the upper deck said: We will not let you come up; you climb up and cause us trouble.) The lower deck people thought: If we make a hole in our part below and get water from there, then the people above will not be troubled. (And in one narration: So that we do not have to pass by the people above and cause them trouble.) (Acting on this decision) one man took an axe and started digging in the lower part of the ship. The people above came to him and said: What are you doing? He said: You feel troubled, and we need water. If the people above leave the people below and their intention unchecked, then all of them will be destroyed; but if they restrain them, they will all be saved, and they will save the others as well.”

Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever honors the proof and evidence of Allah, Allah Almighty will honor him on the Day of Resurrection."

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever revives barren land, he will receive a reward for it, and whatever those seeking sustenance eat from it, he will also receive a reward for that."

Sayyiduna Ya'la ibn Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever wrongfully seizes land, he will be made to carry its earth on the Day of Resurrection until the gathering."
