- (ما اشخص ابصاركم عني؟ قالوا: نظرنا إلى القمر، قال: فكيف بكم إذا رايتم الله جهرة؟!).
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He says, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was teaching the companions matters of religion when suddenly their eyes were raised upwards. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is it that has caused your eyes to be raised upwards?" They said: We looked at the moon. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What will your condition be at that time when you will see Allah the Exalted clearly?"

- (إن الله يحب العبد التقي الغني الخفي).
It is narrated from ‘Amir bin Sa’d, he says that Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) was among his camels when his son ‘Umar came to him. When Sa’d saw him, he said:“I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of this rider.”Then he (‘Umar) dismounted and said:“You have become devoted to your camels and goats and have separated yourself from the people while they are disputing about the government.”Sayyiduna Sa’d struck his chest and said:“Be quiet! I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: ‘Indeed, Allah loves the pious, self-sufficient, and obscure servant.’”

Kathir bin Aslami narrated this from Mutlib, who narrated from ‘Umar bin Sa’d, who narrated from his father that he said:“My son came to me, and I said to him (in response to his words): ‘My son! Are you inviting me to become a leader in the turmoil? By Allah! (I will not go until) I am given such a sword that if I strike a Muslim with it, it does not hit him, and if I strike a disbeliever with it, it kills him. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say... (the above-mentioned hadith was mentioned).”

Reward for good deeds of believer and disbeliever
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Indeed, Allah does not wrong a believer even in regard to a single good deed. The believer is rewarded for his good deeds in this world, and he will also be rewarded in the Hereafter. As for the disbeliever, the good deeds he does for Allah are recompensed for him in this world itself. Therefore, when he meets Allah on the Day of Resurrection, he will have no good deed left for which he may be rewarded.”
