- (إن الله ليملي للظالم، حتى إذا اخذه لم يفلته. قال: ثم قرا: ﴿ وكذلك اخذ ربك إذا اخذ القرى وهي ظالمة إن اخذه اليم شديد﴾).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, he cannot escape from Him." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse of the Qur'an: And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe. __QUR_N__

- (إن الله لا يحب هذا وضربه (¬1) ؛ يلوون السنتهم للناس لي البقرة لسانها بالمرعى! كذلك يلوي الله السنتهم ووجوههم في النار).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wathilah bin Asqa’, he says: I was among the Ashab al-Suffah. I saw that our condition was such that none of us had a complete garment, and due to dust, dirt, and sweat, lines would appear on our bodies. (One day) suddenly, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and said:“Glad tidings for the poor Muhajirun.”Suddenly, a man in fine clothing came to us. Whatever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say, he would, with affectation, speak words superior to the Prophet’s words. When he left, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Indeed, Allah dislikes him and those like him, who twist their tongues for people like grazing cows in the pasture. Allah will also twist their faces and tongues in the Fire.”

A Bedouin came on his camel, and he surpassed it. This was very hard on the Muslims, and they began to say that ‘Adhba has been left behind. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Indeed, it is a right upon Allah that whatever He raises in this world, He also lowers it.”

Iyas bin Mu'awiyah bin Qurrah Muzani narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather Qurrah bin Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him), who says: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when the topic of modesty was mentioned. The companions said: O Messenger of Allah! Is modesty also a part of religion? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, modesty, chastity, humility, and understanding are from faith (humility here means humility of speech, not of heart). The increase that these matters bring in the Hereafter is greater than the decrease that occurs in this world. Indeed, miserliness, immorality, and foul speech are from hypocrisy; these things cause loss in the Hereafter and increase in this world. But the decrease that these matters cause in the Hereafter is greater than the increase that occurs in this world." Iyas said: I narrated this hadith to Umar bin Abdul Aziz, then at his command, I dictated it, then he wrote this hadith in his own handwriting, then when he led us in the Zuhr and Asr prayers, that letter was in his palm, he had not put it away.

It is narrated from Humaid, who narrates from a man, that: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) appointed a man as the commander of an army. He went, and when he returned to you, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him: "How did you find the leadership?" He said: I was just like some of the people; when I mounted, they mounted, and when I dismounted, they dismounted. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the leader is on the brink of sin, except for the one whom Allah protects." That man said: By Allah! (In the future) I will not be your official nor anyone else's. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laughed until his molar teeth became visible.

He was wiping the blood from his forehead and saying: O Allah, forgive my people, for they do not know.”Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: It is as if I am still seeing the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while he was imitating that man, wiping his forehead.

-" إن كنتم تحبون ان يحبكم الله ورسوله فحافظوا على ثلاث خصال: صدق الحديث، واداء الامانة، وحسن الجوار".
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Guests from Bahrain stayed with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked for water for ablution and performed ablution. They rushed towards the water from his ablution; whatever water they found, they drank, and whatever had fallen on the ground, they wiped on their faces, heads, and chests. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked them: "What made you do this?" They said: O Messenger of Allah! Your love did. Perhaps (because of this manner of love) Allah Almighty will begin to love us. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If you wish that Allah and His Messenger love you, then safeguard these three qualities: (1) Speaking the truth, (2) Fulfilling trusts, and (3) Being a good neighbor. (Remember that) harming the neighbor destroys good deeds just as the sun melts ice."
