It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The son of Adam has not done any deed better than prayer, making peace between people, and good character."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Among the believers, the most complete in faith are those who are best in character, who are humble, who love others and are loved by them. And there is no good in a person who neither loves others nor is loved by them."

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the believers, the most complete in faith are those who are best in character, and the best among you are those who are best to their women."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Iyad bin Himar (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said one day in a sermon:“Be aware! My Lord has commanded me to teach you (those matters) which you do not know. Among the matters which Allah has taught me today is this: Every wealth that I have granted to a servant is lawful, and I have created all My servants as upright, pure Muslims, but then the devils came to them and led them away from their religion. (As a result) what I had made lawful for them, they made unlawful for themselves, and they commanded them to associate partners with Me, for which I had sent down no authority. Verily, Allah looked upon the people of the earth and found them all sinful, both Arabs and non-Arabs, except for a few remnants from the People of the Book. Allah said: (O Muhammad!) I have sent you so that I may test you and test people through you. Now I have sent down to you a Book which water cannot wash away; you recite it in both sleep and wakefulness. Allah has commanded me to burn the Quraysh. I said: O my Lord! They will break my head and make it like a piece of bread (crushed). Allah said: Expel them as they expelled you, and fight them; We will help you. Spend, and you will be provided for. Send an army, and We will send five like it. Fight your disobedient ones with your obedient followers. And the people of Paradise are of three types: (1) A just ruler who gives charity and is granted success in good deeds; (2) Every person who is soft-hearted and merciful towards his relatives and towards every Muslim; (3) Every person who is chaste, refrains from begging despite having a family, and gives charity. And the people of Hell are of five types: (1) The weak person who lacks the resolve to avoid evil, who is among you as your follower, and does not seek family or wealth; (2) The treacherous person whose greed is not hidden, who betrays even in small matters when given the opportunity; (3) The man who deceives you morning and evening regarding your family and wealth; (4) Then he mentioned the miser or the liar; and (5) The foul-mouthed and ill-tempered person. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Allah has revealed to me that you should be humble, so that no one boasts over another, nor oppresses another.”

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, where some Ansari women were present. He admonished them and gave them advice, then instructed them to give charity, even if it be from their jewelry. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is there any woman who tells people about what happens in privacy with her husband? Is there any man who tells people about what happens in privacy with his wife?" Then one of those women, whose cheeks were dusty, stood up and said: "By Allah! Men do this and women do this too." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do this. Shall I not tell you its example? The one who does this is like a devil who meets a female devil on the road and has intercourse with her while people are watching them."

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the tribe of Banu Najjar, and the girls were beating the duff and singing: "We are the girls of Banu Najjar: 'Wow! Wow! Muhammad (peace be upon him) is such a good neighbor.'" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah knows that my heart loves you."

Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: There was no habit more hated and detested by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) than lying. When he would come to know of this about any of his companions, he would reduce his interaction with him until it became known that he had repented.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to our house when I was a child. When I was about to go out to play, my mother said: O Abdullah! Come here, I will give you something. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "What do you intend to give him?" She said: I will give him a date. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beware! If you do not give him anything, it will be written as a lie in your record of deeds."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Tawaf on the day of the conquest of Makkah on his Qaswa camel and touched the Black Stone with his staff. There was no place found to make the camel sit in the mosque, so it was taken to the flat part of the valley and made to sit there. Then he praised and glorified Allah and said: «أما بعد» O people! Indeed, Allah has removed the pride of ignorance from you. Now people are of two kinds: (1) The righteous, pious, and honorable in the sight of their Lord; (2) The sinful, wretched, and despicable in the sight of Allah. Then he recited this verse: O people! We created you from a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes so that you may recognize one another. Then he recited the entire verse and at the end said: "This is all I wanted to say, (now) I seek forgiveness from Allah for myself and for you."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bishr bin Aqabah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: My father was martyred in a battle along with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me and I was crying. He said to me: "Be quiet, are you not pleased that I am your father and Aisha is your mother?"
