Mukhtasar Sahih Bukhari
Washing off blood is sufficient
Lady Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) says that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "Tell me, if one of us gets menstrual blood on her clothes, what should she do?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "She should scrape it off, then rub it with water, and then wash it with (more) water, and then she may pray in it."
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said,“O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman who suffers from continuous bleeding (istihada) and therefore do not become pure for many days. Should I stop offering prayers?”The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,“No! This is blood from a vein and not menstruation. So when your menstrual period comes, stop offering prayers, and when it passes, wash the blood from your body and then offer prayers. Then perform ablution for every prayer until the (menstrual) period returns (then stop offering prayers again).”
Washing or rubbing off semen are equal
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I used to wash the traces of janabah (semen stains) from the garment of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would go out for prayer wearing the same garment, even though there would be water spots on his garment.
Ruling on urine and dwellings of camels, cattle, and goats
‘Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that some people from (the tribe of) ‘Ukl or ‘Uraynah came, and the climate of Madinah did not suit them, so they became ill in Madinah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that they be given some camels and also ordered that they drink their urine and milk. So they went (to the pasture) and did so. When they recovered, they killed the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shepherd and drove away the animals. Early in the day, this news reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he sent men in their pursuit. By mid-morning, they were brought (arrested). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that their hands and feet be cut off, and hot iron rods were passed over their eyes, and they were thrown on the hot stony ground. They would ask for water, but they were not given water (because they too had shown ingratitude).
`Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, Before the mosque was built, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to offer prayers in a sheepfold.
Ruling on impurities falling into ghee or water
Narrated from Ummul Momineen Maimunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a mouse that had fallen into clarified butter (ghee). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Remove it and also remove the (ghee) around where it fell, and use the rest of the ghee.”
Narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Any wound that a Muslim receives in the way of Allah will appear on the Day of Resurrection in the same (fresh) state as it was when it was inflicted; blood will flow from it. Its color will be that of blood, but its fragrance will be that of musk."
Avoid urinating in stagnant water
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "None of you should urinate in standing water that does not flow, (because it is possible that) he may need to wash (himself) in that (water) again."
Prayer is not invalidated if impurity or carrion is placed on one’s back
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was praying near the Ka’bah, and Abu Jahl and some of his friends were sitting there. One of them said to another,“Who among you will bring the entrails (and intestines, etc.) of such-and-such tribe’s she-camel and place it on Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) back when he goes into prostration?”So the most wretched among them (‘Uqbah) got up, brought it, and waited until the Prophet (peace be upon him) went into prostration. (Immediately) he placed it between the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) shoulders, and I was watching this state but could do nothing. If only I had the power (why would I have witnessed this state)! Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Then those people started laughing and fell over each other (out of laughter and joy), and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was in prostration and could not raise his head until Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra (may Allah be pleased with her) came and removed it from the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) back. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) raised his blessed head and supplicated against them, saying,“O Allah! Make destruction obligatory upon Quraysh.”He said this three times. This was very hard on them, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) had supplicated against them. Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Those disbelievers knew that supplication is accepted in this city (Makkah). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned each one by name:“O Allah! Make (the destruction of) Abu Jahl obligatory upon Yourself, and ‘Utbah bin Rabi’ah, and Shaybah bin Rabi’ah, and Walid bin ‘Utbah, and Umayyah bin Khalaf, and ‘Uqbah bin Abi Mu’it (obligatory upon Yourself).”(And he counted a seventh, but I do not remember his name.) By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I saw those people whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had named, lying (dead and unburied) in the well, that is, the well of Badr.
Spitting or blowing nose into garment
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spat in his garment (once).
