Fasting person having relations with his wife.
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss (his pure wives) while fasting and used to embrace (i.e., hug), but he (peace be upon him) had more control over his desires than you. (Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) also says that for a fasting person, a woman’s private part is forbidden. Here,“mubasharat”means embracing and body-to-body contact.)

If someone has intercourse in Ramadan and owns nothing, then receives charity, he should use it for expiation.
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): (One day) while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), a man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I am ruined." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "What happened?" He said, "I had intercourse with my wife while I was fasting." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Can you free a slave?" He replied, "No." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Can you feed sixty poor people?" He replied, "No." (Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, says) Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) paused. While we were in this state, someone brought a basket made of palm leaves filled with dates to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Where is the questioner?" He replied, "Here I am." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Take this basket and give it in charity." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! Should I give it to someone poorer than myself? By Allah, there is no household between the two rocky plains of Madinah that is more in need than my household." Upon hearing this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed so much that his blessed teeth became visible, then he said, "Alright! Then feed it to your own family."

Fasting and breaking fast during travel—both are allowed?
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We were on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (when evening came), so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to a man: "Dismount and mix sattu (barley drink) for me." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! The sun is still present." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) again said: "Dismount and mix sattu for me." He again said, "O Messenger of Allah! The sun is still present." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Dismount and mix sattu for me." So he dismounted from the camel and mixed sattu for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank it and pointed with his hand towards that direction and said: "When you see that night has come from this side, then the fasting person should break his fast."
