مختصر صحيح بخاري
Mukhtasar Sahih Bukhari
Allah’s statement: O mankind, We created you from a male and a female.
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "You will find people like mines (of gold and silver). Those who were considered good and noble in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance are also good and noble in Islam, provided they acquire understanding of the religion. And you will find that the most suitable for leadership is the one who dislikes it the most. And the worst among people is the double-faced one, who comes to some people with one face and to others with another face."
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Muslims follow the Quraysh in leadership and caliphate, just as (the Arabs) in the time of disbelief also followed the Quraysh, and the condition of people is like that of mines. Those who were good and noble in the time of ignorance are also good and noble in the time of Islam, provided they acquire knowledge of the religion. You will find the best person to be the one who dislikes authority and leadership the most, until he is caught up in it."
Virtue of the Quraysh tribe.
When it reached Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this hadith that soon the king of the Arabs will be a Qahtani, Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) became angry upon hearing this and stood up to deliver a sermon. First, he praised Allah as He deserves to be praised, then said: "To proceed! It has reached me that some of you narrate such ahadith whose chain does not originate from the Book of Allah nor are they transmitted from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So these people are ignorant; beware of them and their ideas, the very ideas that have led them astray. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: This caliphate and leadership will remain among the Quraysh. Whoever opposes them, Allah will throw him down (overturn him), as long as (the Quraysh) uphold the religion and the Shari'ah."
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The people of Quraysh, Ansar, Juhaina, Muzaina, Aslam, Ashja‘, and Ghifar—all these tribes are my well-wishers, and apart from Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), they have no protector."
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "This caliphate will remain among the Quraysh as long as there are two men of them left (in the world)."
Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I and Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: You have given (the share of near relatives) to Banu Muttalib, while we (Banu Umayyah) and Banu Muttalib have the same relationship with you. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“That is true, but Banu Hashim and Banu Muttalib have always been together as one.”
(Chapter)
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever knowingly claims someone other than his father as his father, he has committed disbelief. Whoever claims to belong to a people to whom he does not belong, let him take his place in the Hellfire."
Sayyiduna Wathilah bin Al-Asqa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“The greatest slander (and most severe lie) is that a man claims someone other than his father as his father, or says he saw in a dream what his eyes did not see, or attributes to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) something which he did not say.”
Description of the tribes of Aslam, Ghifar, Muzaina, Juhaina, and Ashja.
Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said while standing on the pulpit: "Allah has forgiven the tribe of Ghifar, and Allah has saved the tribe of Aslam, and the tribe of 'Usayyah has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger."
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Aqra’ bin Habis (may Allah be pleased with him) said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that those people have pledged allegiance to you who used to steal the belongings of the pilgrims, meaning the people of the tribes of Aslam, Ghifar, and Muzaynah, and I think he also said, "and the people of Juhaynah"—this doubt is from Ibn Abi Ya’qub, the narrator. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tell me! Aslam, Ghifar, Muzaynah, and Juhaynah (these four tribes) are better than Banu Tamim, Banu Amir, Asad, and Ghatafan. Are the former (four) ruined and destroyed?" Aqra’ said, "Yes!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, they are better than them."
