مختصر صحيح بخاري
Mukhtasar Sahih Bukhari
Description of the Prophet’s appearance and character.
In one narration it is stated (Shu’bah, may Allah have mercy on him, says) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) disliked something, it could be known from his face.
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never criticized any food. If he desired it, he would eat it; if he disliked it, he would leave it (without criticizing it).
Narrated from Ummul Momineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to speak in such a manner (calmly and with pauses) that if someone wanted to count (the words), they could count them.
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not speak hastily in the manner that you do.
The Prophet’s eyes slept but his heart did not.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the incident of that night (the Night of Ascension), when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken from Masjid al-Ka'bah, that before revelation descended upon him, three angels came to him while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was sleeping in Masjid al-Haram (between Sayyiduna Ja'far bin Abi Talib and Sayyiduna Hamzah, may Allah be pleased with them). One of them (the angels) said, "Who among them is he (who has been commanded to be taken)?" The second said, "He (the one in the middle) is the best among them." The third said, "Take the one who is the best among all of them." That night, only this happened, and after that, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw them on another night, just as he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to see with his heart, and the eyes of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sleep but his heart would not sleep, and this is the state of all the Prophets: their eyes sleep but their hearts do not sleep. Then Jibreel (peace be upon him) took the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with him and ascended to the heavens.
Signs of prophethood in Islam.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was at the place of Zawraa when a vessel of water was brought to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his hand in that vessel, then water began to gush forth from his fingers, and all the people performed ablution. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked, "How many people were you?" He replied, "Three hundred or close to three hundred."
Narrated Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him):
We used to consider miracles as blessings and favors from Allah, while you are afraid of them. We were on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when the water became scarce. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If anyone has any leftover water, bring it." So people brought a vessel in which there was a little water. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put his hand in that vessel and then said: "Come, take the blessed water, and the blessing is from Allah." (Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him) says: I myself saw that water was gushing from the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and at that time, while eating, we used to hear the food glorifying Allah.

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "The Hour will not come until you fight with people who wear hairy shoes.... This lengthy hadith has already passed (see the Book: On Jihad and Military Expeditions... Chapter: The Mention of Fighting with the Turks), and at the end of this narration he says that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: '... And a time will come when any one of you will prefer to see me more than having all his family, wealth, and property.'"
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not come until you fight the people of Khuz and Kirman (Persians), whose faces will be red, noses flat, and eyes small. Their faces will be like layered shields, and they will wear shoes made of hair."
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "This tribe of Quraysh (Banu Umayyah) will destroy the people." The Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, asked: "Then what do you command us to do?" He said: "I wish people would keep away from them."
