It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us to give admonition and said: "On the Day of Resurrection, all of you will be presented before Allah barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised. The Divine command is: «﴿كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ﴾ [الأنبياء: 104] » 'As We created you the first time, We shall recreate you (again). This is a promise binding upon Us, and We shall certainly fulfill it.' Then, among the creation, Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him), who is the Friend of Allah, will be the first to be clothed. Then, from among you, a group will be seized from the left side. I will say, 'O Lord! These are my companions.' It will be said to me, 'You do not know what innovations they introduced after you. After your passing and your separation from them, they turned apostate and remained firm upon that.' Hearing this, I will say what the righteous servant, that is, Isa (peace be upon him), said: «﴿وَكُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ . . . . . فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ﴾ [المائدة: 117-118] » 'As long as I remained among them, I watched over their affairs... Surely, You are the Mighty, the Wise.' Then it will be said, 'After your separation from them, these people always turned back on their heels.'"

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) brought with him Prophet Ismail and Lady Hajar (peace be upon them) and left them at the place in Makkah where the well of Zamzam is today. After that, the narrator mentioned the entire hadith and said that when Lady Hajar (peace be upon her) came from Marwah towards Prophet Ismail (peace be upon him), she saw a spring gushing forth. She began to build a wall around the spring with her own hands until the water collected in one corner. Then she filled her water-skin from the bowl. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah have mercy on her. If she had left the spring as it was, it would have continued to flow (and spread far and wide) until the Day of Judgment."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that we came with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) having tied the Ihram for Hajj. Upon the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) made it the Ihram for Umrah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If what has come before me now had come earlier, I would have done as the people have done. But Umrah has been included in Hajj until the Day of Judgment." Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) interlaced his fingers to demonstrate. In short, all the people opened their Ihram except those who had sacrificial animals with them. Meanwhile, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived from Yemen. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "With what intention did you tie the Ihram?" He replied, "With the intention of your Ihram." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Do you have a sacrificial animal with you?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Remain in the state you are in. I give you one-third of my sacrificial animals." At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had one hundred camels for sacrifice.
