مسنَد عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عمَرَ بنِ الخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا
Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 5831
حدثنا علي بن إسحاق ، اخبرنا عبد الله ، اخبرنا موسى بن عقبة ، عن سالم ، ونافع , عن عبد الله , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: كان , فذكر مثله.
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 4116.
Hadith Number: 5832
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا علي بن عاصم ، عن عطاء يعني ابن السائب ، عن محارب يعني ابن دثار ، عن عبد الله بن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" يا ايها الناس، إياكم والظلم، فإن الظلم ظلمات يوم القيامة".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people! Beware of oppression, for oppression will be darknesses on the Day of Resurrection."
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، فإن سماع علي بن عطاء بن السائب بأخرة.
Hadith Number: 5833
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، عن بكار يعني ابن عبد الله ، عن خلاد بن عبد الرحمن بن جندة , انه سال طاوسا عن الشراب، فاخبره , عن ابن عمر , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" نهى عن الجر والدباء".
Khalad bin Abdur Rahman asked Tawus about wine, so he narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (the use of) pitchers and gourds.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح.
Hadith Number: 5834
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إذا طلع حاجب الشمس، فاخروا الصلاة حتى تبرز، وإذا غاب حاجب الشمس، فاخروا الصلاة حتى تغيب".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the edge of the sun begins to rise, do not perform prayer until it becomes fully apparent, and likewise, when the edge of the sun begins to set, do not perform prayer until it has completely set."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 829.
Hadith Number: 5835
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا عبد الله بن نافع ، عن ابيه ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول:" لا يتحرى احدكم الصلاة طلوع الشمس ولا غروبها، فإنها تطلع بين قرني الشيطان".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not intend to pray at the time of sunrise or sunset, because the sun rises between the two horns of Satan."
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، عبدالله بن نافع ضعيف لكنه توبع.
Hadith Number: 5836
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا سعيد بن زياد ، عن زياد بن صبيح الحنفي ، قال: صليت إلى جنب ابن عمر ، فوضعت يدي على خاصرتي، فضرب يدي، فلما صلى , قال:" هذا الصلب في الصلاة، وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ينهى عنه".
Ziyad bin Subaih Hanafi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I was praying next to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). I placed my hand on my waist. When he saw this, he struck my hand. When he finished his prayer, he said: Such severity in prayer? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid this.
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد حسن.
Hadith Number: 5837
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا ثابت بن عمارة ، عن ابي تميمة الهجيمي ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: صليت مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم , وابي بكر , وعمر , وعثمان:" فلا صلاة بعد الغداة حتى تطلع الشمس".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the three caliphs. Remember! There is no prayer after the Fajr prayer until sunrise.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده قوي.
Hadith Number: 5838
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا وكيع ، عن العمري ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم , إذا جد به السير، جمع بين المغرب والعشاء".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in a hurry to travel, he would combine Maghrib and Isha prayers.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لضعف العمري.
Hadith Number: 5839
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا العمري ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال:" ما كان لي مبيت ولا ماوى على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلا في المسجد".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I had no place of shelter or place to spend the night except the mosque.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف كسابقه.
Hadith Number: 5840
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا العمري ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" كان تركز له الحربة في العيدين، فيصلي إليها".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a spear would be planted on the two Eids, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would use it as a sutrah and perform the prayer.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صيح، العمري- وإن كان ضعيفا- قد توبع.
