مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 7276
حدثنا إسحاق بن عيسى ، اخبرنا مالك ، عن الزهري ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة ، انه قال: إن الناس يقولون: اكثر ابو هريرة، والله لولا آيتان في كتاب الله، ما حدثت حديثا، ثم يتلو هاتين الآيتين إن الذين يكتمون ما انزلنا من البينات والهدى سورة البقرة آية 159، فذكر الحديث.
A‘raj, may Allah have mercy on him, says that Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, used to say: People say that Abu Hurairah narrates many ahadith. If it were not for two verses in the Book of Allah, I would never narrate even a single hadith. Then he would recite those two verses: "Indeed, those who conceal the clear proofs and guidance We have revealed..."

Hadith Number: 7277
حدثنا ابو اليمان ، اخبرنا شعيب ، عن الزهري ، اخبرنا سعيد بن المسيب ، وابو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن ، ان ابا هريرة ، قال: إنكم تقولون: إن ابا هريرة يكثر... فذكره.
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.

Hadith Number: 7278
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة ، وقرئ عليه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إذا استاذن احدكم جاره ان يغرز خشبة في جداره، فلا يمنعه". فلما حدثهم ابو هريرة طاطئوا رؤوسهم، فقال: ما لي اراكم معرضين؟! والله لارمين بها بين اكتافكم.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any of you has a neighbor who asks permission to fix his beam in your wall, do not prevent him. When Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith to the people, they began to raise their heads and look at him (as if they were surprised at this). Seeing this, Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: What is the matter that I see you turning away? By Allah, I will implement it among your shoulders (i.e., enforce it among you).
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 2463، 1609.
Hadith Number: 7279
حدثنا حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة قال سفيان : سالته انا عنه: كيف الطعام، اي طعام الاغنياء؟ قال: اخبرني الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة : " شر الطعام، طعام الوليمة، يدعى إليها الاغنياء، ويترك المساكين، ومن لم يات الدعوة، فقد عصى الله ورسوله" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are left out, and whoever does not accept the invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 5177، م: 1432، قال الحافظ في الفتح: أول هذا الحديث موقوف ولكن آخره يقتضي رفعه.
Hadith Number: 7280
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه"، قال عبد الله بن احمد: قال ابي: سمعته اربع مرات من سفيان، وقال مرة:" من صام رمضان"، وقال مرة:" من قام"، ومن قام ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه".
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, all his past sins will be forgiven. My father says that I heard this hadith from Sufyan four times, and in it there is also this addition: Whoever stands (in prayer) during the Night of Qadr with faith and seeking reward, all his past sins will be forgiven.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 2014، م: 760.
Hadith Number: 7281
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا إسماعيل بن عمر ، اخبرنا ابن ابي ذئب ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال:" سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يرغب في قيام يعني رمضان".
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraging the observance of standing (in prayer) during Ramadan.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 37، م: 759.
Hadith Number: 7282
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، رواية:" إذا استيقظ احدكم من نومه، فلا يغمس يده في إنائه، حتى يغسلها ثلاثا، فإنه لا يدري اين باتت يده".
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when any one of you wakes up from his sleep, he should not put his hand into a vessel until he has washed it three times, for he does not know where his hand was during the night.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 162، م: 278.
Hadith Number: 7283
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ،" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، لما مات النجاشي اخبرهم، انه قد مات، فاستغفروا له".
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the King of Abyssinia, Najashi, passed away, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of his passing. Consequently, the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) sought forgiveness for him.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 1245، م: 951.
Hadith Number: 7284
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، يبلغ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ومن ادرك من صلاة ركعة، فقد ادرك".
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu’ form that whoever catches one rak’ah of any prayer, it is as if he has caught the whole prayer.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 580، م: 607.
Hadith Number: 7285
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا سفيان ، قال: سمعت الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" التسبيح للرجال، والتصفيق للنساء".
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that saying "Subhan Allah" upon the imam's mistake is prescribed for male followers, and clapping is prescribed for women.
