The man reached that spot and saw that there were some channels, and one of those channels collected all the water. The man followed the water and, walking along, reached a man who was standing in his garden, directing the water here and there. He said to him, "O servant of Allah, what is your name?" He told him his name, and it was the same name that he had heard in the voice from the cloud. The man said, "O servant of Allah, why are you asking my name?" He replied, "I heard a voice in a cloud, and this water is from it, and it mentioned your name, saying, 'Water the garden of so-and-so.' Now tell me, what is it that you do (for which you have received this blessing)?" He said, "If you insist, then the matter is that I consider the produce of this garden, then I give one third in charity, one third I feed to myself and my family, and one third I reinvest in it."
