Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the most complete supplication is that a person says: O Allah, You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I have wronged myself. I admit my sins. O Lord! Forgive my sins. You alone are my Lord, and none besides You can forgive sins.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man had intercourse with his wife during the day in the month of Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Free a slave, or fast for two consecutive months, or feed sixty needy people. He said: I do not have the means for that. In the meantime, a basket of dates was brought to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) from somewhere. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Take this and give it as charity on your behalf. He submitted: O Messenger of Allah, from this corner of Madinah to that corner, there is no household more in need than ours. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed so much that his blessed teeth became visible and said: Go, you and your family eat it yourselves.
