Benefits & Rulings:

➊ This report concerns matters of the unseen, which were informed to us by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. It is obligatory upon all Muslims to believe in the information given by him exactly as it is — without any doubt or objection.

➋ It is understood from this that by consistently reciting this supplication, a person can be protected from various external and internal harms. One of the reasons behind the increasing reports of jinn and evil spirit disturbances in many households today is that people either remain in a state of impurity or neglect this purified Sunnah. “May Allah protect us from it.” ( «A‘ādhana Allah minhā» )
