If the Imam Makes a Mistake in Salah and Does Not Perform Sujud Sahw, What Should the People Do?

٤٥٨٠ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن سعد بن إبراهيم عن ابي سلمة عن ابي هريرة ان النبي ﷺ صلى الظهر ركعتين ثم سلم فقيل له: انقص من الصلاة؟ فصلى ركعتين اخراوين (وسلم) (١) ثم سجد سجدتين (٢).
ريفرينس و تحكيم الحدیث:
(١) في [أ، ب، هـ]: (فسلم).
(٢) صحيح، أخرجه البخاري (٧١٥)، وأحمد (٩٠١٠).
حدثنا غندر ، عن شعبة ، عن سعد بن إبراهيم ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ," ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الظهر ركعتين ثم سلم , فقيل له: انقص من الصلاة؟ فصلى ركعتين اخراوين وسلم ثم سجد سجدتين"
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led the people in two rak'ahs of the Zuhr prayer, then said the salam. He was asked whether the prayer had been shortened. Upon this, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, performed another two rak'ahs and said the salam, then performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajda sahw).
