باب ما جاء فى استحباب النظر إلى المخطوبة
Chapter: What Has Been Reported Regarding the Recommendation to Look at the Woman to Be Proposed To
Hadith Number: 6876
عن ابي هريرة قال: خطب رجل امراة، فقال يعني النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((انظر إليها فإن في اعين الانصار شيئا))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man sent a proposal to a woman. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Look at that woman, because generally there is some defect in the eyes of the Ansar women.
