Hadith Number: 9281
عن عتبة بن عبد السلمي رضي الله عنه قال استكسيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فكساني خيشتين فلقد رايتني البسهما وانا من اكسى اصحابي
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abd Salma (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I requested clothing from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) made me wear two coarse garments. But when I adorned myself with them, I saw that among my companions, I was the one with the most clothing.
