باب إن المستشار مؤتمن
Chapter: The Adviser Should Be Trustworthy
Hadith Number: 2823
حدثنا ابو كريب، حدثنا وكيع، عن داود بن ابي عبد الله، عن ابن جدعان، عن جدته، عن ام سلمة، قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " المستشار مؤتمن "، وفي الباب، عن ابن مسعود، وابي هريرة، وابن عمر، قال ابو عيسى: هذا حديث غريب من حديث ام سلمة.
Umm al-Mu’minin Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“The advisor, that is, the one who is consulted, should be trustworthy.”__REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is gharib through the narration of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her),
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ibn Mas’ud, Abu Hurairah, and Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them).

تخریج الحدیث دارالدعوہ: «تفرد بہ المؤلف (تحفة الأشراف: 18299) (صحیح) (سند میں عبد الرحمن بن زید بن جدعان کی دادی (جدة) مجہول راوی ہیں، لیکن سابقہ حدیث سے تقویت پا کر یہ حدیث صحیح ہے)»
قال الشيخ الألباني: صحيح بما بعده (2824)
