Musnad Ahmad
أَوَّلُ مُسْنَدِ الْبَصْرِيِّينَ
First Part of Musnad of the Basrans
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
And from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 20248
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، اخبرنا يونس ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة بن جندب ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " توشكون ان يملا الله تبارك وتعالى ايديكم من العجم، ثم يكونوا اسدا لا يفرون، فيقتلون مقاتلتكم، وياكلون فيئكم" ..
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon Allah will fill your hands with the non-Arabs, then they will become such lions who do not flee from the battlefield. They will kill your warriors and consume your spoils of war.

Hadith Number: 20250
وحدثناه سريج بن النعمان ، حدثنا هشيم ، عن يونس ، عن الحسن، عن سمرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مثله.

Hadith Number: 20251
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا حماد ، عن قتادة , وحميد , عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " الجار احق بالجوار" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The neighbor of the house has more right to the house than others.

Hadith Number: 20252
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " البيعان بالخيار ما لم يتفرقا، او ياخذ كل واحد منهما ما رضي من البيع" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The seller and the buyer (the one who sells and the one who buys) have the option (to cancel the sale) as long as they do not separate from each other, and each of them can take what he is pleased with in the sale.

Hadith Number: 20253
حدثنا إسماعيل , ومحمد بن جعفر , قالا: ثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة بن جندب ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " البيعان بالخيار ما لم يتفرقا" .

Hadith Number: 20254
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " العمرى جائزة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“‘Umra’ is permissible for the person in whose favor it is made.”

Hadith Number: 20255
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، عن قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " صلاة الوسطى صلاة العصر" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "By 'Salat al-Wusta' is meant the Asr prayer."

Hadith Number: 20256
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، حدثنا قتادة ، عن الحسن ، عن سمرة ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقول: " كل غلام رهينة بعقيقته، تذبح يوم سابعه، ويحلق، ويدمى" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every boy is held in pledge for his 'aqiqah, so sacrifice should be offered for him on the seventh day, his name should be given on that day, and his head should be shaved.

Hadith Number: 20257
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، اخبرنا بشر بن حرب ، عن سمرة بن جندب ، قال: احسبه مرفوعا: " من نسي صلاة فليصلها حين يذكرها، ومن الغد للوقت" ..
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu’ form that whoever forgets to perform the prayer at its appointed time, he should offer it as soon as he remembers, and on the next day, he should perform it at its prescribed time.
