مُسْنَدُ الْأَنْصَارِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ
Musnad of the Ansar
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ ثَوْبَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
And from the hadith of Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 22431
حدثنا عبد الرزاق وابن بكر قالا: اخبرنا ابن جريج وروح: حدثنا ابن جريج: اخبرني مكحول ان شيخا من الحي اخبره ان ثوبان مولى النبي ﷺ اخبره: ان النبي ﷺ قال: «افطر الحاجم والمحجوم»
Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj and Rawh informed us: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us: Mak'hul informed me that a sheikh from the tribe informed him that Thawban, the freed slave of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم , informed him: that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

Hadith Number: 22432
حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، حدثنا معمر , وروح , حدثنا هشام بن ابي عبد الله ، عن يحيى بن ابي كثير ، عن ابي قلابة ، عن ابي اسماء الرحبي ، قال: حدثني ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: بينما رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يمشي في البقيع في رمضان راى رجلا يحتجم، فقال: " افطر الحاجم والمحجوم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once passed by a man in Jannat al-Baqi‘ on the eighteenth day of Ramadan who was having cupping done. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who performs cupping and the one who gets cupped, their fast is broken.

Hadith Number: 22433
حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم ، حدثنا ابن ثوبان ، حدثني حسان بن عطية ، ان ابا كبشة السلولي حدثه , انه سمع ثوبان ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " سددوا وقاربوا واعملوا وخيروا، واعلموا ان خير اعمالكم الصلاة، ولا يحافظ على الوضوء إلا مؤمن" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Remain steadfast, stay close, and continue to do good deeds. Your best deed is prayer, and only a believer maintains regular ablution.

Hadith Number: 22434
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام , وابان , قالا: حدثنا قتادة ، عن سالم ، عن معدان ، عن ثوبان ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من فارق الروح الجسد وهو بريء من ثلاث دخل الجنة: الكبر، والدين، والغلول" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever's soul departs from his body in such a state that he is free from three things will enter Paradise: arrogance, debt, and dishonesty regarding war booty.

Hadith Number: 22435
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، قال شعبة : عن قتادة ، عن سالم ، عن معدان ، عن ثوبان ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من صلى على جنازة فله قيراط، فإن شهد دفنها، فله قيراطان، القيراط مثل احد" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever participates in a funeral will receive one qirat of reward, and whoever remains until the burial will receive two qirats, and the measure of one qirat is equal to Mount Uhud.

Hadith Number: 22436
حدثنا وكيع , ويعلى , قالا: حدثنا الاعمش ، عن سالم بن ابي الجعد ، عن ثوبان ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " استقيموا ولن تحصوا، واعلموا ان خير اعمالكم الصلاة، ولا يحافظ على الوضوء إلا مؤمن" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Remain steadfast, for you will never be able to encompass all deeds. However, know that your best deed is prayer, and only a believer maintains regular ablution.

حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد منقطع، سالم لم يسمع من ثوبان، وقد توبع
Hadith Number: 22437
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثني عبد الله بن عمرو بن مرة ، عن ابيه ، عن سالم بن ابي الجعد ، عن ثوبان ، قال: لما نزل في الفضة والذهب ما نزل، قالوا: فاي المال نتخذ؟ قال: عمر: انا اعلم ذلك لكم , قال: فاوضع على بعير فادركه، وانا في اثره، فقال: يا رسول الله، اي المال نتخذ؟ قال: " ليتخذ احدكم قلبا شاكرا، ولسانا ذاكرا، وزوجة تعينه على امر الآخرة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the blessed verse regarding gold and silver was revealed, people began to say, "What wealth should we keep with us?" Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I will find out for you." So he quickly rode his camel and reached the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I was also behind him. He submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! What wealth should we keep with us?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A tongue that remembers (Allah), a grateful heart, and a believing wife who helps him in matters of the Hereafter."

حكم دارالسلام: حسن لغيره، وهذا إسناد منقطع، سالم لم يسمع من ثوبان
Hadith Number: 22438
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن عبد الله بن عيسى ، عن عبد الله بن ابي الجعد ، عن ثوبان ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إن العبد ليحرم الرزق بالذنب يصيبه، ولا يرد القدر إلا الدعاء، ولا يزيد في العمر إلا البر" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sometimes a person is deprived of sustenance because of a sin that he commits, and nothing can avert destiny except supplication, and nothing increases life except righteousness.

حكم دارالسلام: حسن لغيره دون قوله: إن العبد ليحرم الرزق بالذنب يصيبه، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، عبدالله بن أبى الجعد مجهول، ولم يسمع من ثوبان
Hadith Number: 22439
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي ، حدثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد ، عن ايوب ، عن ابي قلابة ، عن ابي اسماء ، عن ثوبان ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " عائد المريض في مخرفة الجنة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a Muslim man visits his Muslim brother who is ill, he walks through the gardens of Paradise.

حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، أبو قلابة لم يسمعه من أبى أسماء الرحبي
Hadith Number: 22440
حدثنا عبد الرحمن ، حدثنا حماد بن زيد ، عن ايوب ، عن ابي قلابة ، قال: وذكر ابا اسماء ، وذكر ثوبان ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ايما امراة سالت زوجها الطلاق في غير ما باس، فحرام عليها رائحة الجنة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without a specific reason, the fragrance of Paradise will be forbidden for her.
