مُسْنَدُ الْأَنْصَارِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ
Musnad of the Ansar
وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ ثَوْبَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
And from the hadith of Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 22422
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون ، اخبرنا عاصم يعني الاحول ، عن عبد الله بن زيد يعني ابا قلابة ، عن ابي الاشعث الصنعاني ، عن ابي اسماء الرحبي ، عن ثوبان ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من عاد مريضا لم يزل في خرفة الجنة" فقيل: يا رسول الله، وما خرفة الجنة؟ قال:" جناها" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a Muslim visits his Muslim brother who is ill, he continues to walk in the gardens of Paradise until he returns.

Hadith Number: 22423
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون , وابو النضر , قالا: حدثنا ابن ابي ذئب ، عن محمد بن قيس ، عن عبد الرحمن بن معاوية ، عن ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من يتقبل لي بواحدة اتقبل له بالجنة؟" قال: قلت: انا يا رسول الله , قال:" لا تسال الناس شيئا" , قال: فربما سقط سوط ثوبان وهو على بعيره، فما يسال احدا ان يناوله، حتى ينزل إليه فياخذه..
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever guarantees me one thing, I will guarantee him Paradise. Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) offered himself. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not ask people for anything. He replied: Alright. So after that, he never asked anyone for anything, even if he was riding and his whip fell, he would not ask anyone to pick it up; he would get down himself and pick it up.

Hadith Number: 22424
حدثنا يزيد ، اخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق ، عن العباس بن عبد الرحمن بن ميناء ، عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن معاوية , عن ثوبان، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" من يضمن لي خلة واضمن له الجنة؟" فذكر معناه.
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.

Hadith Number: 22425
حدثنا روح ، حدثنا مرزوق ابو عبد الله الشامي ، حدثنا سعيد رجل من اهل الشام، حدثنا ثوبان ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا اصاب احدكم الحمى وإن الحمى قطعة من النار، فليطفئها عنه بالماء البارد، وليستقبل نهرا جاريا يستقبل جرية الماء فيقول بسم الله، اللهم اشف عبدك وصدق رسولك، بعد صلاة الفجر قبل طلوع الشمس، فيغتمس فيه ثلاث غمسات ثلاثة ايام، فإن لم يبرا في ثلاث فخمس، فإن لم يبرا في خمس فسبع، فإن لم يبرا في سبع فتسع، فإنه لا يكاد يجاوز التسع بإذن الله عز وجل" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any of you gets a fever—which is a part of the fire—he should extinguish it with cold water. He should stand facing the direction of the flow in front of a running stream and say: "BISMILLAH ALLAHUMMA I FI ABDIKA WA SADIQ RASULAKA" (In the name of Allah! O Allah, grant Your servant healing and prove Your Messenger true). This should be done before sunrise and after the Fajr prayer. After that, he should immerse himself in the running stream three times, and do this for three days. If he is not cured in three days, then for five days, otherwise for seven, otherwise for nine days. He should not exceed nine days; inshaAllah (he will be cured).

Hadith Number: 22426
حدثنا عبد الصمد ، حدثنا هشام ، عن قتادة ، عن سالم بن ابي الجعد ، عن معدان بن ابي طلحة ، عن ثوبان ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إني لبعقر حوضي اذود عنه لاهل اليمن، اضرب بعصاي حتى يرفض عليهم" , فسئل عن عرضه، فقال:" من مقامي إلى عمان" , وسئل عن شرابه، فقال:" اشد بياضا من اللبن، واحلى من العسل ينشعب فيه ميزابان يمدانه من الجنة، احدهما من ذهب، والآخر من ورق" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will be at the rear part of my reservoir and I will be pushing people away for the people of Yemen, and I will push them away with my staff until they are separated. Someone asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): How wide will it be? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Equal to the distance from this place to Oman. Then someone asked about its water, so he said: It will be whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, into which two channels will flow and increase its water. One of them will be of gold and the other of silver.

Hadith Number: 22427
حدثنا محمد بن بكر , وعبد الوهاب , قالا: حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن سالم بن ابي الجعد ، عن معدان ، عن ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، انه قال: " من فارق الروح الجسد وهو بريء من ثلاث دخل الجنة: الكبر، والغلول، والدين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever's soul departs from his body in such a state that he is free from three things will enter Paradise: arrogance, debt, and dishonesty regarding war booty.

حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن قتادة , وبهز قال: حدثنا قتادة , حدثنا همام ، عن سالم بن ابي الجعد ، قال: بهز: عن سالم، عن معدان ، عن ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من فارق الروح الجسد وهو بريء من ثلاث دخل الجنة: الغلول، والدين" , قال بهز:" والكبر" .

Hadith Number: 22429
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر , وروح , قالا: حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن شهر بن حوشب ، عن عبد الرحمن بن غنم ، عن ثوبان مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " افطر الحاجم والمحجوم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Both the one who applies cupping and the one to whom it is applied, their fast is broken.

Hadith Number: 22430
حدثنا عبد الرزاق , وابن بكر , قالا: اخبرنا ابن جريج , وروح ، حدثنا ابن جريج ، اخبرني مكحول ، ان شيخا من الحي، اخبره , ان ثوبان مولى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم اخبره , ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " افطر الحاجم والمحجوم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who applies cupping and the one to whom it is applied, both their fasts are broken.

Hadith Number: 22430M
حدثنا عبد الرزاق اخبرنا معمر عن قتادة عن سالم بن ابي الجعد الغطفاني ، عن معدان بن ابي طلحة ، عن ثوبان ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " انا عند عقر حوضي اذود الناس عنه لاهل اليمن، إني لاضربهم بعصاي حتى يرفض عليهم، وإنه ليغت فيه ميزابان احدهما من ورق، والآخر من ذهب، ما بين بصرى , وصنعاء، او ما بين ايلة , ومكة" او قال:" من مقامي هذا إلى عمان".
It is narrated from Hazrat Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will be at the rear part of my reservoir and I will be pushing people away for the people of Yemen, and I will push them away with my staff until they are separated. There will be two channels pouring into it, increasing its water. One of them will be of gold and the other of silver, and the length of this reservoir will be the distance between Busra and Sana'a, or between Aylah and Makkah, or from that place to Oman.
