Musnad of the Women
حَدِيثُ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا
Hadith of Asma' bint Abi Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 26922
حدثنا ابو معاوية ، قال: حدثنا هشام بن عروة ، عن فاطمة بنت المنذر ، عن اسماء بنت ابي بكر ، قالت: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " انفحي او ارضحي، او انفقي ولا توعي، فيوعي الله عليك، ولا تحصي فيحصي الله عليك" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me: Be generous and open-handed, and spend (in the way of Allah); do not hoard, otherwise Allah will also withhold from you. And do not spend by counting (stingily), lest Allah also start giving you by counting.

Hadith Number: 26923
حدثنا عثام بن علي ابو علي العامري ، قال: حدثنا هشام بن عروة ، عن فاطمة ، عن اسماء ، قالت: " إن كنا لنؤمر بالعتاقة في صلاة الخسوف" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that on the occasion of a solar eclipse, we were commanded to free slaves.

Hadith Number: 26924
حدثنا معاوية بن عمرو ، قال: حدثنا زائدة ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن فاطمة بنت المنذر ، عن اسماء ، قالت: ولقد امرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " بالعتاقة في صلاة كسوف الشمس" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded us to free slaves on the occasion of a solar eclipse.

Hadith Number: 26925
حدثنا ابن نمير ، قال: حدثنا هشام ، عن فاطمة ، عن اسماء ، قالت: خسفت الشمس على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم , فدخلت على عائشة، فقلت: ما شان الناس يصلون؟ فاشارت براسها إلى السماء، فقلت: آية؟ قالت: نعم، فاطال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم القيام جدا حتى تجلاني الغشي، فاخذت قربة إلى جنبي، فاخذت اصب على راسي الماء، فانصرف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد تجلت الشمس، فخطب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فحمد الله، واثنى عليه، ثم قال:" اما بعد، ما من شيء لم اكن رايته , إلا قد رايته في مقامي هذا، حتى الجنة والنار، إنه قد اوحي إلي انكم تفتنون في القبور قريبا او مثل فتنة المسيح الدجال لا ادري اي ذلك قالت اسماء يؤتى احدكم، فيقال: ما علمك بهذا الرجل؟ فاما المؤمن او الموقن، لا ادري اي ذلك قالت اسماء , فيقول: هو محمد , هو رسول الله، جاءنا بالبينات والهدى، فاجبنا واتبعنا ثلاث مرار , فيقال له: قد كنا نعلم ان كنت لتؤمن به، فنم صالحا، واما المنافق او المرتاب، لا يدري اي ذلك قالت اسماء , فيقول: ما ادري، سمعت الناس يقولون شيئا فقلت" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that once during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace be upon him), there was a solar eclipse. On that day, I went to Hazrat Aisha's house and asked her, "What has happened to the people that they are praying at this time?" She pointed her head towards the sky. I asked, "Has some sign appeared?" She said, "Yes." On this occasion, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood for a long time in prayer until I fainted. I took a water-skin that was beside me and began to pour water over my head. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) finished the prayer with salam, the solar eclipse had ended. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon, and after praising and glorifying Allah, he said, "After praise and salutation! Today, at this place, I have seen things that I had never seen before, even Paradise and Hell. It has been revealed to me that you people will be subjected to a trial in your graves equal to or close to the trial of the Dajjal. Angels will come to you and ask, 'What do you know about this man?' So the believer will reply, 'He was Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he came to us with clear miracles and guidance. We responded to his call and followed him (three times).' It will be said to him, 'We knew that you believed in this, so sleep in peace!' And as for the hypocrite, he will say, 'I do not know. I used to hear people saying something, so I said the same.'"

Hadith Number: 26926
حدثنا ابن نمير , عن هشام , عن فاطمة بنت المنذر ، عن اسماء ، قالت: إنها كانت إذا اتيت بالمراة لتدعو لها، صبت الماء بينها وبين جيبها، وقالت: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " امرنا ان نبردها بالماء، وقال:" إنها من فيح جهنم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that when a woman was brought to her for supplication, she would pour water into her collar (after reciting) and would say that the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded us to cool fever with water and said that fever is the effect of the heat of Hell.

Hadith Number: 26927
حدثنا ابو اسامة ، عن هشام ، عن فاطمة ، عن اسماء ، قالت: " افطرنا على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في يوم غيم في رمضان، ثم طلعت الشمس" , قلت لهشام: امروا بالقضاء؟ قال: وبد من ذاك.
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that on a cloudy day in the month of Ramadan, during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace be upon him), we broke our fast, and then the sun became visible (later, its missed fast was made up).

Hadith Number: 26928
حدثنا حدثنا ابو اسامة ، قال: حدثنا هشام ، عن ابيه , وفاطمة بنت المنذر , عن اسماء ، قالت: صنعت سفرة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم , في بيت ابي بكر حين اراد ان يهاجر , قالت: فلم نجد لسفرته ولا لسقائه ما نربطهما به , قالت: فقلت لابي بكر: والله ما اجد شيئا اربطه به إلا نطاقي , قال: فقال شقيه باثنين، فاربطي بواحد السقاء، والآخر السفرة، فلذلك سميت: ذات النطاقين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) intended to migrate, I prepared the travel provisions for the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the house of Hazrat Abu Bakr. I had to tie the travel provisions and the mouth of the water-skin, but I could not find anything for this purpose. I said to Hazrat Abu Bakr that I am not finding anything to tie the travel provisions except my waistband. He said, "Tear it into two pieces; tie the mouth of the water-skin with one piece and the travel provisions with the other." Because of this, I was given the name "Dhat an-Nitaqain" (the possessor of two waistbands).

Hadith Number: 26929
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن هشام ، قال: حدثتني فاطمة ، عن اسماء , ان امراة , قالت: يا رسول الله، إن لي ضرة، فهل علي جناح إن تشبعت من زوجي بغير الذي يعطيني؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " المتشبع بما لم يعط، كلابس ثوبي زور" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that a woman came to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a co-wife. If my husband has not given me anything, but I pretend that he has provided me with such and such a thing, will there be any sin upon me for this?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "To pretend to have received something which one has not been given is like wearing two garments of falsehood."

Hadith Number: 26930
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن هشام ، قال: حدثتني فاطمة ، عن اسماء ، قالت: " اكلنا لحم فرس لنا على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that during the Prophetic era, we once slaughtered a horse and also ate it.

Hadith Number: 26931
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن هشام ، قال: حدثتني فاطمة بنت المنذر . ح ووكيع قال: حدثنا هشام ، عن فاطمة ، عن اسماء بنت ابي بكر ، ان امراة من الانصار , قالت لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن لي بنية عريسا، وإنه تمرق شعرها، فهل علي جناح إن وصلت راسها؟ قال: " لعن الله الواصلة والمستوصلة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that a woman came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "My daughter has recently gotten married. She has fallen ill and the hair on her head is falling out. Can I have other hair attached to her head?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah has cursed both the one who attaches hair and the one who has it attached."
