It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that we set out with the intention of Hajj along with the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded us, so we made it the Ihram of Umrah, and all things became lawful for us as before, to the extent that even braziers were kindled between women and men.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once came to Dubaa’ah bint Zubair bin Abdul Muttalib, who was ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her,“Will you not travel with us on this journey?”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended the Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjatul Wada’). She replied,“O Messenger of Allah, I am ill and I fear that my illness may prevent me from completing the rites.”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,“You should enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj and make the intention: ‘O Allah! The place where You stop me, that will be the place where my Ihram will be released.’”

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that on the day when there was a solar eclipse, the Prophet (peace be upon him) became anxious and took his shirt and put a cloak over it, and with the people performed a long standing (in prayer). The Prophet (peace be upon him) kept standing and bowing during this time. I saw a woman who was older than me but she was standing, then I saw a woman who was more ill than me but still she was standing. Seeing this, I thought that I am more deserving to stand with steadfastness than you.

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that one day I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) praying in front of the Black Stone. This was at a time when the Prophet (peace be upon him) had not yet been commanded to invite the polytheists openly. I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) reciting this verse in that prayer, while the polytheists were also listening: "So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?"

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) stopped at the place of Dhi Tuwa, Abu Quhafa said to his young granddaughter, "Daughter! Take me up to Abu Qubais!" By that time, he had lost his eyesight. She took him up that mountain, and Abu Quhafa asked, "Daughter! What do you see?" She said, "A very large army that has gathered and come." Abu Quhafa said, "They are horsemen." His granddaughter said, "I saw a man running ahead of the army, sometimes coming forward and sometimes falling behind." Abu Quhafa said, "That is clear now, meaning that the man who commands the horsemen and stays ahead of them." She says, "Then the army began to spread out." Upon this, Abu Quhafa said, "By Allah, now the horsemen have set out. Take me home quickly." She began to take him down, but before they could reach their home, the army had already arrived there. The girl had a silver necklace around her neck, which a man took off from her neck.
When the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered Makkah and went into the mosque, Hazrat Abu Bakr brought his father to the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Upon seeing this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "You could have let him stay at home; I would have gone there myself." Hazrat Abu Bakr submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! It is more appropriate that he comes to you than that you go to him." Then he seated him before the Prophet (peace be upon him), who passed his hand over his chest and invited him to accept Islam, so he became a Muslim. When Hazrat Abu Bakr brought him to the Prophet (peace be upon him), his head had become white like the plant called Thaghama. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Dye his hair." Then Hazrat Abu Bakr stood up, took his sister's hand, and said, "I swear by Allah and Islam, return my sister's necklace." But no one replied, so Hazrat Abu Bakr said, "Dear sister, hope for reward for your necklace."

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) and along with him Hazrat Siddiq Akbar left from Makkah Mukarramah, Hazrat Siddiq Akbar took all his wealth, which amounted to five or six thousand dirhams, with him and departed. After a little while, our grandfather Abu Quhafa came; his eyesight had gone. He said, "I think he has taken all his wealth with him." I said, "Dear father! No, he has left a lot of wealth for us." Saying this, I took some stones and placed them in a niche in the house where my father used to keep his wealth, and covered them with a cloth. Then I took his hand and said, "Dear father! Place your hand on this wealth and see!" He passed his hand over it and said, "If he has left this for you, then there is no harm, and he has done very well, and you will be able to fulfill your needs from it." Although my father had not left anything behind, I did this only to reassure the elders.
