٢٣٤١٥ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا يحيى بن ابي زائدة عن ابي يعفور عن ايمن قال: سمعت يعلى يقول: سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول:"من اخذ ارضا بغير حقها كلف ان يحمل ترابها إلى المحشر" (١).

Hazrat Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever unjustly seizes someone else's land will be forced on the Day of Judgment to carry all the earth of that land.

٢٣٤١٦ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن ابي زائدة عن هشام (بن) (١) عروة (عن ابيه) (٢) عن سعيد بن زيد قال: سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول:"من اخذ شبرا من الارض ظلما فإنه يطوقه من سبع ارضين" (٣).

Hazrat Saeed bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever wrongfully takes a piece of land, on the Day of Resurrection it will be made into a collar of seven earths and placed around his neck.

٢٣٤١٧ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن ابي زائدة عن إسماعيل عن ابي عمرو الشيباني قال: اخبرت انه: ما من احد يسرق ارضا (يكون) (١) (له) (٢) توبة ما وجد ارضا (يحفرها) (٣).

Hazrat Abu Amr al-Shaibani, may Allah have mercy on him, says that it has been conveyed to me that indeed there is no person who grazes land for whom repentance will be (accepted), and there is no land found that is dug for him.

٢٣٤١٨ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا خالد بن (مخلد) (١) عن سليمان بن بلال قال: حدثني محمد بن (عجلان) (٢) (عن ابيه) (٣) عن ابي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:"من اخذ شبرا من الارض (طوقه) (٤) (٥) يوم القيامة من (سبع) (٦) ارضين" (٧).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever wrongfully takes a piece of land, on the Day of Resurrection a collar of seven earths will be placed around his neck.

٢٣٤١٩ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا مروان بن معاوية عن منصور بن (حيان) (١) عن ابي الطفيل قال: كنت جالسا عند علي فاتاه رجل فقال: هل كان النبي ﷺ (٢) (يسر) (٣) إليك؟ فغضب فقال: ما كان النبي ﷺ (٤) يسر إلي شيئا، ⦗٢٣٤⦘ يكتمه الناس، غير انه حدثني باربع كلمات قال: (ما هن؟) (٥) قال: لعن الله من لعن (والده) (٦)، ولعن الله من ذبح لغير الله، ولعن (الله) (٧) من آوى محدثا، ولعن الله من غير منار الارض (٨).

Hazrat Abu Tufail narrates that I was present in the service of Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) when a person came to him and asked, "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tell you any secret matters?" Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) became angry and replied, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not whisper to me anything that he concealed from the people, except that he taught me four words." The man asked, "What are those words?" He (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "May Allah's curse be upon the one who curses his parents, and may Allah's curse be upon the one who sacrifices in the name of other than Allah, may Allah's curse be upon the one who gives shelter to a mischief-maker, and may Allah's curse be upon the one who changes the boundaries of the land."

٢٣٤٢٠ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن (شريك) (١) عن عبد الله (بن) (٢) (محمد) (٣) بن (عقيل) (٤) عن عطاء بن يسار عن ابي مالك الاشعري قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ:" (اعظم) (٥) الغلول (عند) (٦) الله يوم القيامة ذراع ارض يسرقها الرجل، (الرجلان) (٧) والجاران يكون بينهما الارض فيسرق احدهما من صاحبه فيطوقه من سبع ارضين" (٨).

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The greatest deception in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be that a person seizes some land belonging to another, and if two neighbors have shared land and one of them usurps the land of his companion, then a collar of seven earths will be placed around the neck of such a person.

٢٣٤٢١ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو الاحوص (عن) (١) طارق عن ابن ⦗٢٣٥⦘ سابط قال: لعن النبي ﷺ اربعة: من اهل لغير الله، ومن آوى محدثا، ومن عن والديه، ومن سرق المنار، قال: قلت: وما المنار؟ قال: الرجل ياخذ من ارض صاحبه في ارضه (٢).

Hazrat Ibn Sabit narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) cursed four types of people: one who sacrifices in the name of anyone other than Allah, one who gives shelter to a mischief-maker, one who disobeys his parents, and one who steals a boundary marker. The narrator says that I asked, "What is meant by a boundary marker?" It is one who takes his brother's land and adds it to his own land.

٢٣٤٢٢ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا ابو معاوية عن الاعمش عن عمارة بن عمير عن مسروق قال: من ظلم شبرا من الارض فطوقته ذوات الارض يوم القيامة لم تحمله.
Hazrat Masruq states that whoever seizes land unjustly, on the Day of Judgment the owners of the land will make him wear a collar (of that land), which he will not be able to bear.

٢٣٤٢٣ - حدثنا ابو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن محمد بن غريب (عن غريب) (١) قال: سمعت ابن عباس يقول: قال (رسول الله) (٢) ﷺ:"الملعون من (انتقص) (٣) شيئا من (تخوم) (٤) الارض بغير حقه" (٥).

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Curse is upon the one who, without right, diminishes anything from the grass or vegetation of the land.
