Lady Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her), who had the honor of being a companion of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him), narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When a person touches his private part, he should not perform prayer until he performs ablution." The narrator states: When Urwah denied this matter, he inquired about it from Busrah, and Busrah confirmed what he had said. This is authentic. Some other narrators have also corroborated this, in which it is also mentioned: Urwah says: "I asked Busrah about this matter, and she confirmed it."

Sayyida Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever touches his private part should perform ablution like the ablution for prayer." This narration is authentic.

Sayyidah Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever touches his private part should perform ablution again."

Nafi' narrates this statement from Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever touches his private part should perform ablution like the ablution for prayer."

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person puts his hand to his private part, such that there is no barrier (cloth) between his hand and his private part, then he should perform ablution like the ablution for prayer (i.e., it becomes obligatory for him to perform ablution)."

Sayyida Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When anyone touches his private part, he should perform ablution, and when any woman touches her private part, she should perform ablution."

Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever touches his private part should perform ablution, and if a woman touches her private part, she should perform ablution."

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Destruction is for those who touch their private parts and then perform prayer without ablution." Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "May my parents be sacrificed for you! This ruling is for men, what is your opinion regarding women?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a woman touches her private part, she should perform ablution for prayer." The trustworthy narrator of this narration, Abdur Rahman Umari, is weak.

Lady Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Whoever touches his private part, or touches his testicles, or touches his foul place, then he should perform ablution.”This narration is also transmitted with some other chains, however, the mention of the testicles and the foul place is a mistake by the narrator, because this is not mentioned in the narration transmitted from Lady Busrah (may Allah be pleased with her). The more reliable version is: This is the statement of ‘Urwah and is transmitted as a marfu‘ hadith, and trustworthy narrators have transmitted it in this way.
