كِتَابُ وِلَايَةِ الْعَصَبَةِ
Book of Agnatic Guardianship ('Asabah)
بَابُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى الْمِيرَاثِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْسَمَ
Chapter on one who accepts Islam before the inheritance is distributed
Hadith Number: 213
نا جرير بن عبد الحميد، عن منصور، عن إبراهيم، في الرجل من اهل الارض يسلم على يدي الرجل قال:" له ميراثه ويعقل عنه" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "Whoever accepts Islam at the hands of anyone among the people of the land, then he is his heir and the one responsible for paying blood money on his behalf."

Hadith Number: 214
نا جرير، عن مغيرة، عن حماد، قال: " له ان يتحول عنه إن شاء إن لم يعقل عنه، فإذا عقل عنه فليس له ان يتحول إلى غيره" .
Hammad (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "If someone has given blood money, then he no longer has the right to transfer it to another, and if he has not given blood money, then if he wishes, he may transfer it."
