كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ
Book of Divorce
بَابُ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا أَيْنَ تَعْتَدُّ
Chapter: Where does a woman whose husband has died observe her waiting period?
Hadith Number: 1371
نا نا حماد بن زيد، قال: نا ايوب، عن نافع، ان ابن عمر ، اشتكى، فاتت بنت له تعوده متوفى عنها زوجها، فلما كانت من الليل استاذنته ان تبيت،" فامرها ان ترجع إلى بيت زوجها" .
The daughter of Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) came to him after her husband's death to take care of him. She asked permission to stay the night, so he said: Return to your husband's house.

Hadith Number: 1372
نا حماد بن زيد، عن هشام بن عروة، قال: قال ابي: " المطلقة لا تنتقل، إلا ان ينتوي اهلها فتنتوي معهم" .
Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A divorced woman should remain in her house; however, if her family leaves, then she may also go.
