It is narrated from the grandfather of Ikrimah bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the occasion of the Battle of Tabuk: When a plague spreads in an area and you are already present there, then do not leave that place, and if this epidemic spreads in your absence, then do not enter that area.

It is narrated from Hazrat Rabi’ah bin ‘Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Adhere to“Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram.”

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, that once I presented myself before the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had just returned after relieving himself. I said, "Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him," but the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not reply to me. This happened three times in the same way. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, walked on, and I followed behind him until the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered his tent, and I went and sat in the mosque, sad and sorrowful. After a short while, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came out after performing ablution and said once, "And peace and mercy of Allah be upon you." Then he said, "O Abdullah bin Jabir! Shall I not tell you about the best Surah of the Noble Qur'an?" I said, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah!" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Recite 'Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Aalameen' (i.e., Surah Al-Fatiha) till the end."

It is narrated from Hazrat Malik bin Rabi’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while supplicating said: O Allah! Forgive those who shave their heads. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), pray for those who shorten their hair as well. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) again supplicated for those who shave their heads, and on the third or fourth time, he also supplicated for those who shorten their hair. I had shaved my head that day, so I would not have preferred in exchange for it even a red camel or a great amount of wealth.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Khnabash Tai (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to Hajj.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Khnabash Tai (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was sitting in the company of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a woman came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! In which month should I perform Umrah?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan, for performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to Hajj."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Khnabash Tai (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to Hajj.

It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Aidh (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon on a she-camel whose ear was pierced, and an Abyssinian was holding its rein.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ayman bin Khuraym (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon and said three times: O people! False testimony is equal to associating partners with Allah. Then he recited this verse: So avoid the filth of idols and avoid speaking falsehood.

Khaitamah narrates from his father that in the time of ignorance, his father's name was Aziz, which the Prophet (peace be upon him) changed to Abdur Rahman.
