حَدِيثُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 18752
حدثنا إسماعيل بن عمر ، حدثنا يونس ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن ابي جحيفة وهب بن عبد الله السوائي ، قال:" رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى بالابطح العصر ركعتين، ثم قدم بين يديه عنزة بينه وبين مارة الطريق، ورايت الشيب بعنفقته اسفل من شفته السفلى" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) planted a spear in front of him in the valley of Batha and performed two rak'ahs of Zuhr and Asr. And I saw a few white hairs in the lower lip beard of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Hadith Number: 18753
حدثنا حسن بن موسى ، حدثنا زهير ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن ابن ابي جحيفة ، عن ابيه ، قال:" رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى بالابطح صلاة العصر ركعتين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered two rak'ahs of Zuhr and Asr prayers in the valley of Batha, having planted a spear in front of him.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، خ: 187، م: 503، زهير إنما سمع من أبى إسحاق بعد الاختلاط وزاد فى إسناده واسطة عون بن أبى جحيفة
Hadith Number: 18754
حدثنا ابو نعيم ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن علي بن الاقمر ، قال: اخبرني ابو جحيفة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا آكل متكئا" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I do not eat while reclining.

Hadith Number: 18755
حدثنا ابو احمد ، حدثنا إسرائيل ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن وهب السوائي :" انه صلى مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالابطح العصر ركعتين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered two rak'ahs of Zuhr and Asr prayers in the valley of Batha, having planted a spear in front of him.

Hadith Number: 18756
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا شعبة ، اخبرني عون بن ابي جحيفة ، قال: رايت ابي اشترى حجاما، فامر بالمحاجم، فكسرت، قال: فسالته عن ذلك، فقال: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن ثمن الدم، وثمن الكلب، وكسب البغي، ولعن الواشمة والمستوشمة، وآكل الربا وموكله، ولعن المصور" .
Awn bin Abi Juhaifah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I saw my father buy a slave who performed cupping, then he ordered that the cupping instruments be broken. I asked him about this, so he said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of blood, the price of a dog, and the earnings of a prostitute, and he cursed the woman who tattoos and the one who gets tattooed, the one who consumes usury and the one who gives it, and the image-maker.

Hadith Number: 18757
حدثنا بهز ، حدثنا شعبة ، اخبرني الحكم ، عن ابي جحيفة ، قال:" خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالهاجرة، قال: فتوضا، فجعل الناس يتمسحون بفضل وضوئه، فصلى الظهر ركعتين، وبين يديه عنزة" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day at noon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out and performed ablution. People began to rub the leftover water of his ablution on their bodies. Then the Noble Prophet planted a spear in front of him and led two rak'ahs of Zuhr prayer.

Hadith Number: 18758
حدثنا حجاج ، حدثنا شريك ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن وهب وهو ابو جحيفة، قال: " امنا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بمنى، فركز عنزة له بين يديه، فصلى بنا ركعتين" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in two rak‘ahs of prayer in the valley of Mina, having planted a spear in front of him.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، خ: 187، م: 503 غير أن قوله: يمني لم يثبت من حديث أبى جحيفة، فالصحيح فى روايته أنه رآه بالأبطح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لضعف شريك، وتابعه وكيع، لكنه خطأ
Hadith Number: 18759
حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، اخبرنا سفيان ، عن عون بن ابي جحيفة ، عن ابيه ، قال: رايت بلالا يؤذن ويدور، واتتبع فاه هاهنا واصبعاه في اذنيه، قال: ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في قبة له حمراء اراها من ادم، قال: فخرج بلال بين يديه بالعنزة، فركزها، فصلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال عبد الرزاق: وسمعته بمكة قال: بالبطحاء، يمر بين يديه الكلب والمراة والحمار، وعليه حلة حمراء، كاني انظر إلى بريق ساقيه" . قال سفيان: نراها حبرة.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw Hazrat Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) giving the call to prayer; he was turning around, sometimes facing this way and sometimes that way, and during this he had his fingers in his ears. At that time, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was in a red tent, which was probably made of leather. Then Hazrat Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came out carrying a spear and planted it in front of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) began to lead the prayer. During this, dogs, women, and donkeys kept passing in front of him. At that time, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing a red outfit, and it seems as if the whiteness and shine of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) shins are still before my eyes and I am seeing it.

Hadith Number: 18760
حدثنا ابو داود ، حدثنا عمر بن ابي زائدة ، حدثني عون بن ابي جحيفة ، عن ابيه ، قال:" رايت قبة حمراء من ادم لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ورايت بلالا خرج بوضوء ليصبه، فابتدره الناس، فمن اخذ منه شيئا تمسح به، ومن لم يجد منه شيئا اخذ من بلل يد صاحبه، ورايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خرج في حلة حمراء مشمرا، ورايت بلالا اخرج عنزة، فصلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إليها، يمر من ورائها الدواب والناس .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw a tent of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which was made of leather and was red in color, and I saw Hazrat Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) bringing water for ablution. People rushed towards it; whoever got some of that water applied it to himself, and whoever did not get any took moisture from his companion's hands. Then I saw that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out wearing a red outfit, raising his lower garment above his shins. Then Hazrat Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came out carrying a spear and fixed it in front of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to lead the prayer, and dogs, women, and donkeys kept passing in front of him.

Hadith Number: 18761
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا مسعر , عن عون بن ابي جحيفة ، عن ابيه ،" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى إلى عنزة او شبهها، والطريق من ورائها" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the prayer with a spear planted in front of him, while there was a passageway ahead of it.
