A group of hadith scholars came to Abu Al-Ashhab and asked for permission to enter. He granted them permission. The visitors requested, "Narrate to us a hadith." Then, from behind the curtain, his daughter spoke and said, "Ask him about the hadith of Arfajah bin As'ad, whose nose was injured in the battle of Kilab."

It is narrated from Hazrat Urfajah that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: Soon there will be turmoil and tribulations, so whoever seeks to create division among the Muslims "while they are united and in agreement," strike his neck with the sword, whoever he may be.

It is narrated from a person of Banu Sulayt that once I came to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to discuss those captives of mine who had been captured during the time of ignorance. At that time, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was sitting and people had formed a circle around him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was wearing a thick waistcloth. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was gesturing with his fingers. I heard him saying: "A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he does not oppress him nor does he leave him helpless. Taqwa is here," and he pointed with his hand towards his chest.

It is narrated from a companion of Banu Sulaym (that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said): Whatever Allah has given to His servant, He tests him in it. So whoever is content with Allah’s decree, Allah grants him blessing and abundance, and whoever is not content, he is not granted blessing.

Abu Mulaikh narrates from his father Hazrat Usama that once on a Friday it started raining. By the order of the Prophet (peace be upon him), it was announced that today everyone should offer their prayers in their own tents. Nafi bin Umar bin Jameel says that I have seen Ata Ibn Abi Malika and Ikrimah bin Khalid performing the stoning of Jamrah Aqabah even before the Fajr prayer on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah. Abdullah bin Ahmad says that my father asked them, "O Abu Sulaiman, in which year did you hear this hadith from Nafi bin Umar?" He replied, "In 69 AH, the year in which the incident of Hazrat Imam Hussain took place." Note: This narration is incomprehensible because the martyrdom of Hussain took place in 60 AH.

Narrated to us Dawud ibn Amr, narrated to us Nafi‘ ibn ‘Umar ibn Jamil al-Jumahi, he said: I saw ‘Ata’, Ibn Abi Mulaykah, and ‘Ikrimah ibn Khalid throwing the jamrah before dawn on the Day of Sacrifice. ‘Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: My father said to him: O Abu Sulayman, in which year did you hear from Nafi‘ ibn ‘Umar?
