Hadith of Qurrat ibn Da‘mus al-Numayri (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 20693
It is narrated from Hazrat Qarah bin D’amoos that when I reached Madinah Munawwarah and presented myself before the Prophet (peace be upon him), there were people sitting around him. I tried to get closer but was not successful, so I called out from a distance,“O Messenger of Allah, pray for forgiveness for the young man of the Namir tribe (for me).”The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,“May Allah forgive you.”Earlier, the Prophet (peace be upon him) had sent Hazrat Dahiq bin Qais to collect Zakat. When he returned, he brought very fine camels. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him,“Did you, upon reaching Hilal bin ‘Amir, Namir bin ‘Amir, and ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah, take their valuable property?”He replied,“O Messenger of Allah, I had heard that you were mentioning setting out for Jihad, so I thought to bring such camels on which you could ride and carry your goods.”The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,“By Allah, the animals you left behind are more beloved to me than those you brought. Return these to those people and take animals of average quality as Zakat from them.”The narrator says,“I heard the Muslims using the word ‘mujahadat’ for those camels.”

Hadith of Tufayl ibn Sakhbara (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 20694
Hazrat Tufail bin Sakhrarah, who was the maternal brother of Hazrat Aisha, says that once he saw in a dream that he passed by a group of Jews and asked them, "Who are you people?" They replied, "We are Jews." Tufail said, "You would have been a rightly guided people if you did not consider Hazrat Uzair as the son of Allah." The Jews said, "You too would have been a rightly guided people if you did not say, 'What Allah willed and what Muhammad willed.'" Then he passed by a group of Christians and asked them, "Who are you people?" They replied, "We are Christians." Tufail said, "You would have been a rightly guided people if you did not consider Hazrat Isa as the son of Allah." The Christians said, "You too would have been a rightly guided people if you did not say, 'What Allah willed and what Muhammad willed.'" In the morning, he narrated this dream to some people, then went to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and narrated this incident to him as well. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Did you tell this dream to anyone?" He replied, "Yes." So, after finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon, praised and glorified Allah, and said, "Tufail has seen a dream which he has narrated to some of you. You used to say this phrase, and I felt shy to stop you from it. Now do not say, 'What Allah willed and what Muhammad willed.'"

Hadith of the uncle of Abu Hurrah al-Ruqashi from his uncle (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 20695
Hazrat Abu Ruqasha narrates from his uncle: During the middle days of Tashreeq, I was holding the reins of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) camel and was keeping the people back. The Prophet (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon and said: Do you know what day it is today? What month it is? And what city it is? The people replied: It is a sacred day, in a sacred month, and in a sacred city. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Then your lives, wealth, and honor are sacred to each other just as this day, this month, and this city are sacred, until you meet your Lord. Then he said: O people, listen to my words, you will attain life. Beware, do not oppress anyone. He said three times: The wealth of any person is not lawful except with his willing consent. Remember! Every blood, financial matter, and prideful thing from the time of ignorance is under my two feet today, until the Day of Judgment. And the first blood that is forgiven is that of Rabee’ah bin Harith bin Abdul Muttalib, who was a suckling child among Banu Layth, and Banu Hudhail killed him. Similarly, every usury from the time of ignorance is abolished, and Allah’s decree is that the first usury to be abolished is that of Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib. You will get your principal amount, in which you neither oppress nor are oppressed. Remember, time has returned to its original state as it was when Allah created the heavens and the earth. Then he recited this verse: "Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve months in the decree of Allah since the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so do not wrong yourselves therein." Beware, do not become disbelievers after me, striking the necks of one another. Remember, Satan has despaired that the worshippers will ever worship him, but he will continue to sow discord among you. Fear Allah regarding women, for they are under your authority and possess nothing themselves. They have rights over you and you have rights over them. They should not allow anyone you dislike to enter your beds or your homes. If you fear their disobedience, admonish them, separate their beds, and strike them in a way that causes no harm. Their food, drink, and clothing are your responsibility in a good manner. You have taken them as a trust and made their private parts lawful for yourselves by the word of Allah. Beware, whoever has a trust should return it to the one who entrusted it. Then he raised his hands and said: Have I conveyed the message of Allah? (He said this three times.) Then he said: Let those present convey this to those who are absent, for many of those who are absent may be more fortunate than those who hear it.

Hadith of a man from Khath‘am (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 20696
A man from the people of Sham whose name was Ammar says: One year we entered the land of the enemy and then returned from there. Among us was an elder from the tribe of Khath'am. When the mention of Hajjaj came up, he spoke very ill of him. I said to him, "Why are you speaking ill of him? He is fighting the people of Iraq in obedience to the Commander of the Faithful." He replied, "He is the very one who has led these people into disbelief. I heard the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say that there will be five tribulations in this Ummah, four of which have passed and one remains, and that is the war that will uproot everything. O people of Sham, it will be among you. If you reach that time and have the ability to become like a stone, then do so, and do not be with either side, and seek your sustenance in the earth." I asked him, "Did you really hear this hadith from the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم )?" He replied, "Yes!" I said, "May Allah have mercy on you. If you had told me earlier that you had met the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), I would have asked you something."

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that at one time I held the opinion that the children of Muslims would be with the Muslims and the children of the polytheists would be with the polytheists, until a certain man narrated to me from another that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the children of the polytheists, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah knows best what deeds they would have done." Then I met another man and he also told me the same thing, so I withdrew from my opinion.

It is narrated from a companion of the tribe of Qais that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to us. We had a strong camel that no one could control. The Prophet (peace be upon him) went near it, passed his hand over its udders, and milked it. Then, when my father passed away, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came. At that time, I had already wrapped him in a shroud and tied the shroud with date-palm thorns. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Do not torment your father with thorns." Then he untied the thorns from his chest and threw them away, and applied his saliva to his chest, so much so that I saw its wetness on his chest.

Hadith Number: 20699
A companion from Banu Salamah named Salim says that he went to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Mu'adh bin Jabal comes to us at a time when we have already gone to sleep. During the day, we are busy with our work. He calls us for prayer, and when we come, he leads a long prayer." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O Mu'adh bin Jabal, do not be a cause of trial for the people. Either lead the prayer with me or make your prayer light when you lead." Then he said to me, "Salim! How much of the Qur'an do you remember?" I replied, "I ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge from the Fire. By Allah! I cannot recite like you or like Mu'adh." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Why can't you be like me or Mu'adh? We also ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge from the Fire." Then Salim said, "If Allah wills, tomorrow when we face the enemy, you will see." At that time, people were busy preparing for the Battle of Uhud. He also participated in the Battle of Uhud and was martyred.
