It is narrated from Hazrat Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man came as a guest to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He prepared food for him, so Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "If we invite the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), he would also eat with us." So they sent for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) held the door's handles, he saw that a curtain was hanging in one corner of the house. As soon as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it, he turned back. Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "Go after him and ask the reason for his return." Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) followed and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why did you return?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "It is not appropriate for me or for any Prophet to enter a house which is adorned and decorated in such a manner."

It is narrated from Hazrat Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The Caliphate will remain for thirty years, after that kingship will come." Hazrat Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) counted it as follows: two years for the Caliphate of Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), ten years for Hazrat Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him), twelve years for Hazrat Usman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him), and six years for Hazrat Ali Murtaza (may Allah be pleased with him) (making a total of thirty years). The narrator of the hadith says: I asked Saeed bin Jumhan, "Where did you meet Hazrat Safina (may Allah be pleased with him)?" He said, "During the time of Hajjaj bin Yusuf, I met him in Batn Nakhlah, and I stayed with him for eight nights and kept asking him about the ahadith of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I also asked him his name, but he replied, 'I cannot tell you that. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) named me Safina.' I asked, 'Why did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) name you Safina?' He replied, 'Once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out with his companions (may Allah be pleased with them), their luggage was gathered and the bundle was loaded onto me. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "Carry it, for you are Safina (a ship)." That day, even if not one or two, but the load of seven camels had been placed on me, I would not have felt any burden, except if they had overburdened me.'"

It is narrated from Hazrat Safeena (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while delivering a sermon said: "There has not been any prophet before me who did not warn his ummah about the Dajjal. Remember! His left eye will be defective and there will be a thick piece of flesh over his right eye. Between his two eyes will be written 'Kafir' (disbeliever). He will have two symbolic valleys, one of Paradise and one of Hell. If I wish, I can even tell you the names of those two prophets and their forefathers; one of them will be on his right side and the other on his left, and this will be a trial. Then the Dajjal will say: 'Am I not your Lord? Do I not give life and death?' One of the angels among them will say: 'You are lying,' but no human except his companion angel will be able to hear this. His companion will say to him: 'You have spoken the truth.' People will hear his voice and think that he is confirming the Dajjal, whereas this will be a trial. Then he will set out until he reaches Madinah Munawwarah, but he will not be allowed to enter there, and he will say: 'This is the city of that man.' Then he will leave from there and reach Shaam, and Allah Almighty will have him killed near a valley called 'Afiq'."
