تتمة مسند عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith Number: 24681
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن الحكم ، عن ابي بكر بن عبد الرحمن ، عن ابيه ، انه قال: دخلت على عائشة ، فقالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصبح جنبا، ثم يغتسل، ثم يغدو إلى المسجد وراسه يقطر، ثم يصوم ذلك اليوم" ، فاخبرت مروان بن الحكم بقولها، فقال لي: اخبر ابا هريرة بقول عائشة. فقلت: إنه لي صديق، فاحب ان تعفيني، فقال: عزمت عليك لما انطلقت إليه. فانطلقت انا وهو إلى ابي هريرة، فاخبرته بقولها، فقال عائشة: إذن اعلم برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Abdur Rahman says that once I was present in the service of Hazrat Aisha, and while narrating a hadith, she said that sometimes the Prophet (peace be upon him) would be in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) in the morning, so he would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and proceed towards the mosque. At that time, drops of water would be dripping from the blessed head of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he would make the intention to fast for that day. I narrated this hadith to Marwan bin Hakam, so he said to me, "Go and narrate this hadith of Hazrat Aisha to Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)." I said to him, "He is my friend; it would be better if you excuse me from this." He said, "I swear, you must go to him." So Marwan and I set out towards Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and narrated this hadith to him. He said, "Hazrat Aisha knows more about the Prophet (peace be upon him)."

Hadith Number: 24682
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ان ابا بكر دخل عليها، ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عندها يوم فطر، او اضحى، وعندها جاريتان تضربان بدفين، فانتهرهما ابو بكر، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " دعنا يا ابا بكر، إن لكل قوم عيدا، وإن عيدنا هذا اليوم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that once on the day of Eid, Hazrat Siddiq Akbar came to her house and there were two girls playing the duff. Hazrat Siddiq Akbar scolded them, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him, "Leave them, for every nation has a festival, and today is our festival."

Hadith Number: 24683
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه" كان معتكفا في المسجد، فتجيء عائشة، فيخرج راسه، فترجله وهي حائض" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would observe i'tikaf and would extend his head out from the mosque, and I would comb it while I was menstruating.

Hadith Number: 24684
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن حصين ، عن هلال بن يساف ، عن فروة بن نوفل ، قال: قلت لعائشة : اخبريني بدعاء كان يدعو به رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم , قالت: كان يكثر ان يقول: " اللهم إني اعوذ بك من شر ما عملت، ومن شر ما لم اعمل" .
Furwah bin Nawfal says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the supplication of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so she replied that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to frequently make this supplication: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of those things which I have done and which I have not done.

Hadith Number: 24685
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن منصور ، عن ابي الضحى ، عن مسروق ، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يكثر ان يقول في ركوعه وسجوده: " سبحانك اللهم ربنا وبحمدك، اللهم اغفر لي" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to frequently say in his bowing and prostration: "Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika Allahumma ighfir li."

Hadith Number: 24686
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن الانصاري ، قال: قالت لي عمرة اعطني قطعة من ارضك ادفن فيها، فإني سمعت عائشة , تقول: " كسر عظم الميت مثل كسر عظم الحي" . قال محمد: وكان مولى من اهل المدينة، يحدثه عن عائشة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Breaking the bone of a deceased Muslim is just like breaking the bone of a living person.

Hadith Number: 24687
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن ، عن عمته عمرة ، عن عائشة ، انها قالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " إذا طلع الفجر صلى ركعتين، او لم يصل إلا ركعتين، اقول: يقرا فيهما بفاتحة الكتاب" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the (Sunnah of Fajr) so briefly that I would say, "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) even recite Surah Al-Fatiha or not?"

Hadith Number: 24688
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن بديل ، عن عبد الله بن شقيق ، قال: كنت شاكيا بفارس، فكنت اصلي قاعدا، فسالت عن ذلك عائشة ؟ فقالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يصلي ليلا طويلا قائما، وليلا طويلا قاعدا، فإذا قرا قائما ركع، او خشع، قائما، وإذا قرا قاعدا ركع قاعدا" .
Abdullah bin Shaqiq reports: I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the voluntary prayers of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at night. She replied: In the night prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would stand for a long time and sit for quite a while. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would also recite, bow, and prostrate while standing.

Hadith Number: 24689
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن ابي التياح ، قال: سمعت سليمان بن مرثد او مزيد يحدث، عن عائشة ، انها قالت كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يصلي من الليل تسع ركعات" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray nine rak'ahs at night.
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لانقطاعه، لأن سليمان ابن مرثد لم يسمع من عائشة
Hadith Number: 24690
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن سليمان ، قال: سمعت خيثمة يحدث، عن ابي عطية ، عن عائشة ، انها قالت: إني لاعلم كيف كانت تلبية رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثم سمعتها بعد ذلك لبت: " لبيك اللهم لبيك، لبيك لا شريك لك لبيك، إن الحمد والنعمة لك" .
Hazrat Aisha says that I know best how the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to recite the Talbiyah, then she repeated the words of the Talbiyah: Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayk La Sharika Laka Labbayk, Innal Hamda Wan-Ni’mata Laka
