Abu Salamah says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the prayer of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the month of Ramadan, so she replied that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not pray more than eleven rak'ahs in Ramadan or outside of Ramadan. First, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would pray four rak'ahs, and do not ask about their excellence and length, then he would pray another four rak'ahs, and do not ask about their excellence and length either, then he would pray three rak'ahs of witr. Once I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Do you sleep before praying witr?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "Aisha! My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep."

Abu Umamah bin Sahl says that one day I and Urwah bin Zubair went to the service of Hazrat Aisha Siddiqa. She said: I wish you both had seen the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the day he fell ill. At that time, I had six or seven dinars with me. The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered me to distribute them, but due to his illness, I could not find the opportunity, until the Prophet (peace be upon him) recovered and asked me about them: What happened to those six (or seven) dinars? I replied: By Allah, I have not been able to do it yet; your illness kept me occupied. The Prophet (peace be upon him) had them brought and placed them on his palm and said: What would the Prophet of Allah think if he were to meet Allah in this state, while these were still with him?

It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen, Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sleeping, and while sleeping, he began to laugh. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) woke up, I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What made you laugh?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Some people from my Ummah will intend to attack this Baytullah because of one man who will have taken refuge in the Sacred Sanctuary. When they reach the place of Bayda, all of them will be swallowed up by the earth, and their places of resurrection will be different because Allah will raise them according to their intentions." I asked, "How is it that their places of resurrection will be different and Allah will raise them according to their intentions?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "In fact, in that army there will be people who joined only to watch, some travelers, and some who were forced to join. All of them will perish in the same place, but they will be raised from different places according to their intentions."
