It is narrated from Hazrat Fari’ah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once my husband set out in search of some of his non-Arab slaves. He found them at the bank of "Qadoom," but all of them together killed him. When the news of my husband's death reached me, I was in a house far from my family. I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned this incident, saying that I have received the news of my husband's death and I live in a house far from my family. My husband has neither left any maintenance nor any wealth for inheritance, nor did he have any house. If I go to my family and brothers, it would be easier for me in some matters. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go." But when I was about to leave the mosque or the chamber, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called me and said that you should spend the waiting period (‘iddah) in the same house where the news of your husband's death reached you, until the ‘iddah is completed. So I spent four months and ten days there.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not deliberately abandon the prayer, for whoever deliberately abandons the prayer, the protection of Allah and His Messenger is lifted from him."

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Shuraik (may Allah be pleased with her) that she sought permission from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to kill a lizard, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted her permission. It should be noted that Hazrat Umm Shuraik (may Allah be pleased with her) belonged to the Banu Amir bin Lu'ayy.

Umm Karam says that once she went for Hajj, where she met a woman in Makkah Mukarramah who had many maidservants with her, but none of them wore any jewelry except silver. I asked her, "What is the matter? I do not see any jewelry on your maidservant except silver." She said: "My grandfather once went to the service of the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), and I was with him, and I was wearing two gold earrings. The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: 'These are two flames of fire.' Since then, no woman in our house wears any jewelry except silver."

It is narrated from Hazrat Habibah bint Abi Tajrah (may Allah be pleased with her) that we entered the house of Abu Husain with some women of the Quraysh, at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and due to running, his lower garment would turn around, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept performing Sa’i and kept telling the companions (may Allah be pleased with them):“Perform Sa’i, for Allah has made Sa’i obligatory upon you.”

It is narrated from Hazrat Habibah bint Abi Tajrah (may Allah be pleased with her) that we entered the house of Abu Husain with some women of the Quraysh, at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was performing Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and due to running, his lower garment would turn around, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept performing Sa’i and kept telling the companions (may Allah be pleased with them):“Perform Sa’i, for Allah has made Sa’i obligatory upon you.”

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a boy, two goats should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah, and for a girl, one goat."

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Qarz (may Allah be pleased with her) that a small boy was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he urinated on the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that water be sprinkled over it. Then a girl was brought, and she urinated, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that it be washed.

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a boy, two goats should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah, and for a girl, one goat."

It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Karz (may Allah be pleased with her) that I asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about 'Aqiqah. He said: "For a boy, two goats should be sacrificed for 'Aqiqah, and for a girl, one goat."
