Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
(123) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ الْحِجَامَةِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْقَدَمِ،
Chapter: Permissibility of cupping on the top of the foot for a person in ihram
Hadith Number: Q2659
والدليل على ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قد احتجم محرما غير مرة، مرة على الراس، ومرة على ظهر القدم
And the statement that the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) had cupping done several times while in the state of Ihram. Once on his blessed head and another time on the top of his foot.
Hadith Number: 2659
حدثنا محمد بن رافع ، حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، اخبرنا معمر ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ،" ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم احتجم وهو محرم على ظهر القدم من وجع كان به"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done on the top of his foot while in the state of Ihram due to pain in his foot.

(124) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الْوَجَعَ الَّذِي وَجَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِحْرَامِهِ فَاحْتَجَمَ بِسَبَبِهِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْقَدَمِ، وَجَدَهُ بِظَهْرِهِ أَوْ بِوَرِكِهِ لَا بِقَدَمِهِ
Chapter: Evidence that the pain for which the Prophet had cupping on his foot was actually in his back or thigh, not his foot
Hadith Number: 2660
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الاعلى الصنعاني ، حدثنا خالد يعني ابن الحارث . ح وحدثنا بندار ، حدثني عبد الاعلى . ح وحدثنا احمد بن المقدام العجلي ، حدثنا بشر يعني ابن المفضل ، قالوا: حدثنا هشام ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال: " احتجم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو محرم من وثء كان بظهره او بوركه" ، لم يقل لنا بندار: او بوركه، قيل لنا: إنه كان في كتابه، ولم يتكلم به، قال ابو بكر: في خبر ابن عباس، وابن بحينة، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" احتجم على راسه من وجع وجده في راسه"، فدل خبر حميد، عن انس انه احتجم على ظهر القدم، وإنما كانت للوثء الذي كان بظهره او بوركه، لان في خبر حميد، عن انس ان إحدى الحجامتين كان من وجع وجده في راسه، وفي خبر جابر ان إحداهما كان من وثء كان بظهره او بوركه، وقد روى ابن خثيم، عن ابي الزبير، عن جابر،".
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done in the state of Ihram due to pain in his back or hips. In the narration of Janab Bundar, the words "hips" are not present. We were informed that this word was present in his book but he did not narrate it. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) states that in the narrations of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas and Ibn Buhayna (may Allah be pleased with them), it is mentioned that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done on his blessed hips due to some pain. Whereas in the hadith of Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), there is evidence that he had cupping done above his foot due to pain in his back or hip. Because in one narration of Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), these words are also present that once he had cupping done on his head due to pain in his head. And in the narration of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), it is mentioned that once he had cupping done on his back or hip due to pain.

Hadith Number: 2661
ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم احتجم من رهصة اصابته"، حدثناه الزيادي ، حدثنا الفضل بن سليمان ، عن ابن خثيم ، قال ابو بكر: فهذه الرخصة تشبه ان يكون الوثء الذي ذكر في خبر ابي الزبير، عن جابر.
In the narration of Ibn Khuthaym, it is mentioned that Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done due to pain in his foot. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that it is possible that this is the same pain because of which he had cupping done, and which is mentioned in the narration of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him).

(125) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ رُكُوبِ الْمُحْرِمِ الْبُدْنَ إِذَا سَاقَهُ بِلَفْظٍ مُجْمَلٍ غَيْرِ مُفَسَّرٍ
Chapter: Permissibility for a person in ihram to ride the sacrificial animal if he is leading it, in general terms
Hadith Number: 2662
حدثنا بندار ، حدثنا ابو داود ، حدثنا شعبة . ح وحدثنا علي بن خشرم ، وحدثنا عيسى ، عن شعبة . ح وحدثنا يحيى بن حكيم ، حدثنا ابن ابي عدي ، عن شعبة . ح حدثنا بندار ، حدثنا ابن ابي عدي ، عن سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم اتى على رجل يسوق بدنة، فقال: " اركبها"، قال: إنها بدنة، قال:" اركبها، ويلك او ويحك" ، هذا لفظ حديث ابي داود
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to a man who was driving his sacrificial animal, a camel. The Prophet said: "Ride on it." The man replied that it was a sacrificial camel. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ride on it, woe to you, or may good come to you." These are the words of the narration of Abu Dawood.

(126) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِبَعْضِ اللَّفْظَةِ الْمُجْمَلَةِ الَّتِي ذَكَرْتُهَا
Chapter: Clarification of the previously mentioned general statement
Hadith Number: 2663
حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، حدثنا يحيى ، عن ابن جريج، وحدثناه مرة، حدثنا ابن جريج ، اخبرني ابو الزبير ، عن جابر بن عبد الله ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يسال عن ركوب البدنة، قال:" اركبها حتى تجد ظهرا"
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was asked about riding the sacrificial camel, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As long as you do not find another ride, ride on it."

(127) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَبَاحَ رُكُوبَ الْبُدْنِ
Chapter: Evidence that the Prophet only permitted riding the sacrificial animal
Hadith Number: Q2664
عند الحاجة إلى ركوبها عند الإعواز من وجود الظهر ركوبا بالمعروف، ومن غير ان يشق الركوب على البدنة
Permission to ride the sacrificial camel is granted when it is ridden out of necessity, and unnecessary hardship should not be imposed upon it.
Hadith Number: 2664
حدثنا محمد بن معمر القيسي ، حدثنا محمد يعني ابن ابي بكر ، حدثنا ابن جريج ، اخبرني ابو الزبير ، انه سمع جابر بن عبد الله ، سئل عن ركوب الهدي، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " اركب بالمعروف إذا الجئت إليها حتى تجد ظهرا"
Abu Zubair narrates that he heard from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them) when he was asked about riding the sacrificial animal. He replied that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "When you do not find another ride, then in a state of necessity, ride the sacrificial camel, but do so in a good manner (do not ride it without reason and do not put undue hardship on it)."
