Chapter: Dislike of Smoothing Pebbles or Dust in Prayer
Hadith Number: 318
318 صحيح حديث معيقيب، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: في الرجل يسوي التراب حيث يسجد، قال: إن كنت فاعلا فواحدة
Sayyiduna Mu'ayqib bin Abi Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to a man who used to level the pebbles every time he prostrated: "If you must do so, then do it only once (because doing it repeatedly is against humility and submissiveness in prayer)."

Chapter: Prohibition of Spitting in the Mosque, During Prayer or Otherwise
Hadith Number: 319
319 صحيح حديث عبد الله بن عمر، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم راى بصاقا في جدار القبلة فحكه، ثم اقبل على الناس، فقال: إذا كان احدكم يصلي فلا يبصق قبل وجهه، فإن الله قبل وجهه إذا صلى
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw phlegm on the wall of the Qiblah, so he scraped it off, and addressing the people, he said: When any person is in prayer, he should not spit in front of him, because during prayer, Allah Almighty is before his face.

Hadith Number: 320
320 صحيح حديث ابي سعيد، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ابصر نخامة في قبلة المسجد فحكها بحصاة، ثم نهى ان يبزق الرجل بين يديه، او عن يمينه، ولكن عن يساره، او تحت قدمه اليسرى
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw phlegm on the qiblah wall of the mosque, so he scraped it off with a pebble. Then he said: No person should spit in front of him or to his right side, but rather he should spit to his left side or under his foot.

Hadith Number: 321
321 صحيح حديث ابي هريرة وابي سعيد، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم راى نخامة في جدار المسجد فتناول حصاة فحكها، فقال: إذا تنخم احدكم فلا يتنخمن قبل وجهه، ولا عن يمينه، وليبصق عن يساره او تحت قدمه اليسرى
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw phlegm on the wall of the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took a pebble and cleaned it. Then he said: When any person spits, he should not spit in front of him or to his right side, but rather to his left side or under his foot.

Hadith Number: 322
322 صحيح حديث عائشة ام المؤمنين، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم راى في جدار القبلة مخاطا، او بصاقا، او نخامة فحكه
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw nasal mucus (discharge from the nose), saliva, or phlegm on the Qiblah wall, so he (peace be upon him) scraped it off.

Hadith Number: 323
323 صحيح حديث انس بن مالك، قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن المؤمن إذا كان في الصلاة فإنما يناجي ربه، فلا يبزقن بين يديه ولا عن يمينه، ولكن عن يساره او تحت قدمه
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a believer is in prayer, he is whispering to his Lord, so he should not spit in front of him or to his right side; rather, he should spit to his left side or under his foot.

Hadith Number: 324
324 صحيح حديث انس بن مالك، قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: البزاق في المسجد خطيئة وكفارتها دفنها
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spitting in the mosque is a sin, and its expiation is to bury it (in the ground).

Hadith Number: 325
325 صحيح حديث انس بن مالك عن سعيد بن يزيد الازدي، قال: سالت انس بن مالك: اكان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي في نعليه قال: نعم
Saeed bin Yazid Azdi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offer prayer wearing his shoes?" He replied, "Yes."

Hadith Number: 326
326 صحيح حديث عائشة، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى في خميصة لها اعلام، فقال: شغلتني اعلام هذه اذهبوا بها إلى ابي جهم واتوني بانبجانية
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in a striped cloak, then said: "Its designs distracted me. Take it and return it to Abu Juhm and bring a plain cloak from him instead."

Chapter: Dislike of Praying in the Presence of Food
Hadith Number: 327
327 صحيح حديث انس بن مالك رضي الله عنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: إذا وضع العشاء واقيمت الصلاة فابدءوا بالعشاء
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When dinner is served and the prayer has also been established, then eat the food first.
