In the meantime, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) also arrived, and he disliked this matter. So he mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and also said that I only see good in this (i.e., there is no ill suspicion). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah has absolved Asma from this. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood on the pulpit and said: After today, no man should go to a woman whose husband is not present, except that there should be one or two other people with him.
