Mawla-e-Rasool Sayyiduna Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that two women were fasting. A man said: O Messenger of Allah! There are two women here, they are fasting and it seems that they are dying of thirst. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned away from him or remained silent. He repeated his statement and also mentioned the time of noon and said: By Allah! They are about to die. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Call them both. When they both came, a large bowl was also brought. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to one of the women: Vomit. So she vomited pus or blood, pus mixed with blood, and an amount of meat filling half the bowl. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the second woman: Now you vomit. She vomited pus, blood, pus mixed with blood, and so much raw fresh meat that the bowl was filled. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: These two women have abstained from that food and drink which Allah Almighty has made lawful, but they are breaking their fast with that which Allah Almighty has made unlawful. They were sitting together eating the flesh of people.

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever’s intercession becomes a barrier to any limit set by Allah, he has opposed the command of Allah. Whoever knowingly argues in favor of falsehood will remain under the wrath and anger of Allah until he desists. It is the tale-bearing that people do among themselves. Also, Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, a person keeps speaking the truth until he is written as a truthful one, and likewise, it also happens that he keeps telling lies until he is written as a liar.

Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not tell you about your worst people? It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his companions: Let no man bring to me any objectionable talk about any of my companions, for I wish that when I come to you, my heart is clean. Then some wealth was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he distributed it. I passed by two men, and one of them was saying to the other: By Allah! In this distribution, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) does not intend the pleasure of Allah Almighty nor the home of the Hereafter. Then I paid more attention and listened to their conversation. So I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! You had told us that no man should bring to you any objectionable talk about any of your companions. But now the matter is that I passed by so-and-so and so-and-so, and they were saying such things. Upon hearing this, the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned red, and this matter was hard on him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Leave us alone, for Musa (peace be upon him) was hurt more than this, but he still remained patient.

(Second chain) An Ansari man said something from which it was evident that he had felt something about you (peace and blessings be upon him). (The matter was so severe that) I could not control myself and I mentioned it before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I wished that I could sacrifice all my family and wealth as compensation for this. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: People caused Musa (peace be upon him) even greater harm, but he was patient. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrated that a prophet was denied by his people, and when he came to them with Allah’s command, they wounded him. Now he was wiping the blood from his face and at the same time praying: O Allah! Forgive my people, for they do not know.
