بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي لِبَاسِهِ ﷺ وَزِينَةٍ
Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding His ﷺ Clothing and Adornment
Hadith Number: 11340
عن ابي رمثة التميمي قال كنت مع ابي فاتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فوجدناه جالسا في ظل الكعبة وعليه بردان اخضران
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rimtha Tamimi (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) along with my father. We saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sitting in the shade of the Ka'bah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing two green-striped sheets.

Hadith Number: 11341
عن ابي بردة بن عبد الله بن قيس عن ابيه رضي الله عنه قال قال ابي لو شهدتنا ونحن مع نبينا صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم إذا اصابتنا السماء حسبت ان ريحنا ريح الضان إنما لباسنا الصوف
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I wish you could have seen the scene when we were with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and it would start to rain, then you would think that our smell was like that of sheep, and the reason for this was that our clothing was made of wool.

Hadith Number: 11342
عن ابي عمر مولى اسماء رضي الله عنها قال اخرجت إلينا اسماء جبة مزرورة بالديباج فقالت في هذه كان يلقى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم العدو
Mawla Asma reports from Abu Umar, who says: Sayyida Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) placed a cloak before us, which had silk buttons. She said: This is the cloak in which the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would meet even the enemy.

Hadith Number: 11343
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم كان يرى عضلة ساقه من تحت إزاره إذا اتزر
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, would wrap himself in a sheet, the thick flesh of his shin would be visible from beneath the sheet.

Hadith Number: 11344
عن ابي بردة رضي الله عنه قال دخلت على عائشة رضي الله عنها فاخرجت إلينا إزارا غليظا مما صنع باليمن وكساء من التي تدعى الملبدة قال بهز تدعون فقالت إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قبض في هذين الثوبين
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I went to the service of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she showed us a thick sheet made in Yemen and another sheet which you people call "mulabbadah", and said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he was wearing these two sheets.

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم خطب الناس وعليه عصابة دسمة
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the people while he was wearing a black turban. The well-known meaning of "Rasimatun" is "shiny." It is possible that the turban became oily due to the use of oil.

عن جعفر بن عمرو بن حريث عن ابيه رضي الله عنه ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم خطب الناس وعليه عمامة سوداء
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Huraith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the people while he was wearing a black turban.

Hadith Number: 11347
عن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم دخل يوم فتح مكة وعليه عمامة سوداء
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah, he (peace and blessings be upon him) had a black turban on his head.

Hadith Number: 11348
عن انس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال كانت نعال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم لها قبالان
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the sandals of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had two straps at the front, with which he would tie the thong.

عن مطرف بن الشخير رضي الله عنه قال اخبرني اعرابي لنا قال رايت نعل نبيكم مخصوفة
It is narrated from Mutarrif bin Shukhair, he says: A Bedouin told us and said: I have seen the sandal of your Prophet, which had been repaired.
