Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلاةِ إِنَّ اللهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.}
Hadith Number: 231
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم ، انبانا عيينة بن عبد الرحمن ، عن ابيه ، عن ابن عباس ، نعي إليه اخوه قثم، وهو في مسير، فاسترجع، ثم تنحى عن الطريق، فصلى ركعتين اطال فيهما الجلوس، ثم قام يمشي إلى راحلته، وهو يقول:" استعينوا بالصبر والصلاة، وإنها لكبيرة إلا على الخاشعين" .
When Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was informed of the death of his brother Qutham while he was on a journey, he recited «إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ» , then moved aside from the road and performed two units of prayer, in which he sat for a long time. Then, as he walked towards his mount, he kept reciting this verse: "And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive."

Hadith Number: 232
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا هشيم ، اخبرنا خالد بن صفوان ، قال حدثني زيد بن علي ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: نعي إليه ابن له، وهو يسير في سفر، فنزل فصلى ركعتين، ثم استرجع، ثم قال:" فعلنا كما امرنا الله عز وجل، ثم تلا هذه الآية: استعينوا بالصبر والصلاة سورة البقرة آية 153" .
When Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was informed of his son's death during a journey, he dismounted from his ride and performed two units of prayer, then recited «إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ» , and said: We have done what Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has commanded us to do. Then he recited this verse: ﴿وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ﴾ "Seek help through patience and prayer."

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {أُولَئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.}
Hadith Number: 233
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا سفيان ، عن منصور ، عن مجاهد ، قال: قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه: " نعم العدلان، ونعمت العلاوة: اولئك عليهم صلوات من ربهم ورحمة واولئك هم المهتدون سورة البقرة آية 157" .
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: What excellent two helpers and what excellent support: ﴿أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ﴾ "They are those on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and they are the ones who are guided."

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا وَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs Umrah—there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good—then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing.}
Hadith Number: 234
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا داود ، عن الشعبي ، قال: كان على الصفا وثن يقال له: إساف، وعلى المروة وثن يقال له: نائلة، فلما قدم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قالوا: يا رسول الله، إن اهل الجاهلية إنما كانوا يطوفون بين الصفا والمروة للوثنين اللذين عليهما، وإنهما ليسا من شعائر الله، فنزلت:" إن الصفا والمروة من شعائر الله فمن حج البيت او اعتمر فلا جناح عليه ان يطوف بهما سورة البقرة آية 158" .
Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said that there was an idol on the Safa hill which was called Isaf, and there was an idol on the Marwah hill which was called Na'ilah. So when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came, the people said: O Messenger of Allah! The people of ignorance used to perform Tawaf between Safa and Marwah for these two idols, and these two are not among the signs of Allah. Then this verse was revealed: __QUR_N__ "Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever performs Hajj of the House or Umrah, there is no blame upon him for walking between them." __QUR_N__

Hadith Number: 235
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم , اخبرنا ابن ابي نجيح ، عن مجاهد ، في قوله عز وجل: " إن الصفا والمروة من شعائر الله سورة البقرة آية 158، قال:" قالت الانصار: إن السعي بين هذين الحجرين من امر الجاهلية، فنزلت: إن الصفا والمروة من شعائر الله سورة البقرة آية 158" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the statement of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: "Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah" (__QUR_N__), that the Ansar said that walking between these two stones is among the practices of ignorance, so this verse was revealed: "Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah" (__QUR_N__).

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللاعِنُونَ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {And the cursers will curse them.}
Hadith Number: 236
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا إسماعيل بن إبراهيم ، عن ابن ابي نجيح ، عن مجاهد ، في قوله: " ويلعنهم اللاعنون سورة البقرة آية 159، قال:" البهائم إذا اسنتت الارض، قالت البهائم: هذا من اجل عصاة بني آدم، لعن الله عصاة بني آدم" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the explanation of the verse ﴿وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّاعِنُونَ﴾ that when the earth suffers from drought, the animals say: This is because of the disobedient among the children of Adam. May Allah curse the disobedient among the children of Adam.

Hadith Number: 237
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا ابو الاحوص ، عن منصور ، عن مجاهد ، في قوله تعالى: " ويلعنهم اللاعنون سورة البقرة آية 159، قال:" دواب الارض" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: What is meant by Allah the Exalted’s statement:“And those who curse will curse them”are the animals of the earth.

Hadith Number: 238
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا خالد بن عبد الله ، عن عبد الملك بن ابي بكر ، عن عطاء ، في قوله تعالى: " ويلعنهم اللاعنون سورة البقرة آية 159، قال:" الجن والإنس وكل دابة" .
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The words ﴿وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّاعِنُونَ﴾ refer to jinn, humans, and every living creature.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ * إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنْـزَلَ اللهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {And your god is one God. There is no deity except Him, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. * Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.}
Hadith Number: 239
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا ابو الاحوص ، اخبرنا سعيد بن مسروق ، عن ابي الضحى ، قال: " لما نزلت: وإلهكم إله واحد لا إله إلا هو الرحمن الرحيم سورة البقرة آية 163، تعجب المشركون، وقالوا: إلها واحدا! إن كان صادقا فلياتنا بآية، فانزل الله: إن في خلق السموات والارض واختلاف الليل والنهار، إلى قوله: لقوم يعقلون سورة البقرة آية 164" .
Abu al-Duha (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When the verse ﴿And your god is one God; there is no deity except Him, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful﴾ was revealed, the polytheists were astonished and said: "Only one deity! If he is telling the truth, then let him bring us a sign." So Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed: ﴿Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day... for a people who use reason﴾ up to that point.

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ الأَسْبَابُ
His saying, Exalted is He: {And all means have been cut off from them.}
Hadith Number: 240
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا فضيل بن عياض ، عن عبيد المكتب ، عن مجاهد ، في قوله: " وتقطعت بهم الاسباب سورة البقرة آية 166، قال:" الاوصال التي كانت بينهم في الدنيا" .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said:“And all means of connection between them will be cut off”— that is, the relationships and ties that existed between them in the world will all be severed.
