Sunan Saeed bin Mansur
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنْبِتُ الأَرْضُ مِنْ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّائِهَا وَفُومِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا}
His saying, the Exalted: "So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs, its cucumbers, its garlic, its lentils, and its onions..."
Hadith Number: 191
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا سفيان ، وسئل عنه فقال:" كما يقرا عبد الله:" وثومها" .
Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked about this verse, so he said: "Just as Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite it: ﴿وَثُومِهَا﴾."

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِعٌ لَوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ النَّاظِرِينَ}
His saying, the Exalted: "He said, 'He says, it is a yellow cow, bright in color—pleasing to the observers.'"
Hadith Number: 192
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا نوح بن قيس ، عن محمد بن سيف ، عن الحسن في قوله عز وجل: صفراء فاقع لونها سورة البقرة آية 69، قال:" هي السوداء شديدة السواد" .
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, regarding Allah Almighty’s statement: ﴿صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِعٌ لَوْنُهَا﴾ [سورہ البقرہ: 69] , said:“It is black, a color inclined towards deep blackness.”

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {قَالُوا ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنْ لَنَا مَا هِيَ إِنَّ الْبَقَرَ تَشَابَهَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ لَمُهْتَدُونَ}
His saying, the Exalted: "They said, 'Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is. Indeed, [all] cows look alike to us. And indeed we, if Allah wills, will be guided.'"
Hadith Number: 193
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا سفيان ، عن عمرو بن دينار ، عن عكرمة ، يبلغ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لو ان بني إسرائيل اخذوا ادنى بقرة فذبحوها اجزات عنهم، ولكنهم شددوا، ولولا انهم قالوا: إن شاء الله لمهتدون سورة البقرة آية 70 ما وجدوها" .
Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If the Children of Israel had taken any ordinary cow and slaughtered it, it would have been sufficient for them, but they themselves made it difficult (i.e., by asking unnecessary questions repeatedly). And if they had not said: 'If Allah wills, we will surely be guided' (QUR_2:70), they would not have found it (the required cow)."

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا}
His saying, the Exalted: "And speak to people good [words]"
Hadith Number: 194
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا خالد بن عبد الله ، عن عبد الملك بن ابي سليمان ، عن عطاء ، في قوله عز وجل: " وقولوا للناس حسنا سورة البقرة آية 83، قال:" للناس كلهم، للمشرك، وغير المشرك" .
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding Allah Almighty’s statement:“And speak kindly to people”(__QUR_N__):“This refers to all people, whether they are polytheists or non-polytheists.”

Hadith Number: 195
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا هشيم ، قال: اخبرنا عبد الملك بن ابي سليمان ، قال: كان زيد بن ثابت يقرا:" وقولوا للناس حسنا، وكان ابن مسعود يقرا: وقولوا للناس حسنا" .
Abdul Malik bin Abi Sulaiman (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite this verse as: "Wa qooloo linnaasi husna," and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) also used to recite it in the same way: "Wa qooloo linnaasi husna."

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِنْ يَأْتُوكُمْ أُسَارَى تُفَادُوهُمْ}
His saying, the Exalted: "And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them..."
Hadith Number: 196
Ibrahim Nakha'i, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite this verse: ﴿وَإِنْ يَأْتُوكُمْ أَسْرَى﴾.

Hadith Number: 197
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا هشيم ، قال: اخبرنا مغيرة ، عن إبراهيم ،" انه كان يقرا:" وإن ياتوكم اسرى تفدوهم" .
Ibrahim Nakha'i, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite this verse: "And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them."

Hadith Number: 198
Humaid, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite this verse as: "Asra".

Hadith Number: 199
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا هشيم ، قال: اخبرنا عباد بن راشد ، عن الحسن ،" انه كان يقرا:" اسارى تفادوهم سورة البقرة آية 85" .
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite this verse as: "Usara tufaduhum."

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ}
His saying, the Exalted: "And We supported him with the Pure Spirit"
Hadith Number: 200
حدثنا سعيد، قال: اخبرنا عمرو بن ثابت الحداد ، عن ابيه ، عن سعيد بن جبير ، في قوله عز وجل: " وايدناه بروح القدس سورة البقرة آية 87، قال:" إنه كان يحيي الموتى" .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him), in the explanation of this verse: ﴿وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ﴾, says: "Indeed, he used to bring the dead to life."
