Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I wish to see my brothers." The Companions said: "Are we not your brothers?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are my Companions; my brothers are those who will believe in me without having seen me."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Whoever saw me and believed in me, for him is glad tidings once, and whoever (the servant of Allah) believed in me without seeing me, for him is glad tidings seven times.”

Salih bin Jubair says that the Companion of the Messenger, Sayyiduna Abu Jam’ah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), came to us in Bayt al-Maqdis to perform prayer. Raja bin Haywah was also with us. When he was about to leave, we went out with him to see him off. When we were about to return, he said:“I have a gift and a right for you. I will narrate to you a hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).”We said:“May Allah have mercy on you, narrate it.”He said:“We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and with us were ten more Companions including Sayyiduna Mu’adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him). We said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Are there people who will have more reward than us? We have believed in you directly and obeyed and followed you.’ He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Why would you not believe? What could have prevented you? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is among you, and revelation descends upon him from the sky before your eyes. (Those who are superior in reward) are those who will come after you. They will receive (this Qur’an) in two covers, they will believe in it and act upon it (even though they will not have seen me nor the Qur’an being revealed). These people will be superior and higher than you in reward.’”

The freed slave of the Messenger, Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has protected two groups of my Ummah from the Fire: (1) the group that will wage jihad in India, and (2) the group that will be with ‘Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him)."

Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would take hold of me and Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) and say: "O Allah! I love both of them, so You also love them."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most beloved to me is Usamah (bin Zaid), even more than Fatimah and others."

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that Sayyiduna Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) slipped from the doorstep and fell, and his face was injured. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Clean it (the blood, etc.) from him." I felt a bit of disgust. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself sucked the blood from his face and spat it out, and said: "If Usama were a girl, I would have dressed her in clothes and adorned her with jewelry."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I saw in a dream that I entered Paradise, and suddenly my gaze fell upon Rumaisa, the wife of Abu Talhah, and I heard the sound of someone moving from the front side. I said: 'Jibril! Who is this?' He said: 'This is Bilal.' Then I saw a white palace, and there was also a girl in its courtyard. I asked: 'Whose palace is this?' He replied: 'This is Umar ibn Khattab's.' I wanted to enter it and look inside, but Umar! I remembered your sense of honor." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, could I ever have a sense of honor before you?"

Thabit narrates from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her). We brought dates and ghee to the Prophet (peace be upon him). He said: "Put these (dates) back in the bowl and this (ghee) back in the waterskin, for I am fasting." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up and led us in two units of voluntary prayer. He made Umm Haram and Umm Sulaym stand behind us, and me (Anas) on his right side, as Thabit has narrated. The Prophet (peace be upon him) led us in voluntary prayer on a mat. When the prayer was completed, Umm Sulaym said: This is your beloved servant Anas; please supplicate to Allah for him. In response, the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed for every good and blessing for him in this world and the Hereafter. Then he said: "O Allah! Increase him in wealth and children, and then bless him in it." Anas says: My daughter informed me that my descendants have exceeded ninety, and there was no man among the Ansar who had more wealth than me. Then Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Thabit! I do not possess gold or silver, except for this ring.

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: My mother took me to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! This is your small (and beloved) servant, so supplicate for him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah! Increase him in wealth and children, grant him a long life, and forgive him." Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: My wealth became abundant, I was granted a long life, to the extent that I began to feel shy before my family, and my fruits ripened. The fourth thing was forgiveness.
