Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise will enter Paradise, Allah, the Exalted, will say: 'Is there anything (else) you desire, so that I may grant it to you?' They will say: 'O our Lord! What could be greater than what You have already given us (that we should desire to attain it)?' He will say: 'My being pleased with you is the greatest (blessing).'”

Shurayh bin Ubaid says: Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) became ill in the region of Hims, at that time Abdullah bin Qurt Azdi was the governor of Hims, and he did not visit him during his illness. One day, a man from the Kalā‘ī tribe came to visit Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) during his illness. Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him: Can you write? He said: Yes. He said: Write. He wrote a letter to Abdullah bin Qurt: From the client of the Messenger, Thawban: The matter is that if in your region there had been a servant of Musa or Isa (ill like me), you would surely have visited him. Then he sealed the letter and Sayyiduna Thawban asked him: Will you deliver this letter to him? He said: Yes. He took the letter and delivered it to Ibn Qurt. When he read the letter, he became alarmed and stood up. People asked: What happened to him? Has some new matter arisen? He went to Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him), visited him during his illness, sat with him for a while, and when he got up to leave, Thawban held his cloak and said: Sit down, I will narrate to you a hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seventy thousand individuals from my Ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment, and with each thousand of them, seventy thousand more will also enter."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you know about that group from my Ummah who will be the first to enter Paradise?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That group is of the Muhajirun (Emigrants). On the Day of Resurrection, they will come to the gate of Paradise and demand that it be opened. The gatekeeper will ask them: Has your reckoning been completed? They will say: On what matter should we be reckoned? Our swords remained on our shoulders in the path of Allah until we died. So the gate will be opened for them, and (after entering Paradise) they will have already taken a nap of forty years before the general people enter."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The very first group to enter Paradise will be the poor emigrants, through whom people are protected from unpleasant things. When they are commanded, they listen and obey. If any of them needs something from the king, it is not fulfilled for him, until he dies and that need remains in his chest. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will call Paradise, and it will come adorned and beautified, displaying its splendor and decoration. Then Allah Almighty will announce: Where are My servants who fought in My way, and were fought against, who were harmed in My way, and who strove in My way? (My servants!) Enter Paradise. They will enter Paradise without reckoning. (Upon witnessing this) the angels will come and prostrate and say: O our Lord! We used to glorify and sanctify You day and night, but who are these people whom You have preferred over us? The Lord Almighty will say: These are My servants who strove in My way, and were harmed in My way. So the angels will enter upon them from every gate and say: «سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُم بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ» Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home (Surah Ra’d: 24)."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The first group to enter Paradise will have faces shining like the full moon of the fourteenth night. Then those who enter after them will have faces shining like the brightest star in the sky. They will neither urinate nor defecate, nor spit nor blow their noses. Their combs will be of gold, their sweat will be as fragrant as musk, and their incense burners will burn fragrant wood. Their wives will be large-eyed houris. All (the people of Paradise) will be in the form of a single man, in the image of their father Adam (peace be upon him), and in height they will be sixty cubits tall (just as Sayyiduna Adam, peace be upon him, was)."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The men and women became involved in boasting and pride. They said: The number of women in Paradise will be greater than that of men. Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) looked towards the people and said: Are you not listening to what Abu Hurairah is saying? Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say regarding the first group to enter Paradise: "Their faces will be (shining) like the full moon of the fourteenth night, and the faces of the next group will be (radiant) like the brightest star in the sky. Every person of Paradise will have two wives. The marrow of their bones will be visible through the flesh, and there will be no unmarried man or woman in Paradise."

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“The condition of the last man to enter Paradise will be that as he walks (to come out of Hell), he will fall on his face, and the fire will keep scorching his face. When he passes through Hell, it will address him: Blessed is the One who saved me from you and granted me (freedom from you) and gave me what He has not given to anyone among the former or the latter. Then he will see a tree and say: My Lord! Bring me near to this tree so that I may enjoy its shade and drink its water. Allah, the Exalted, will say: O son of Adam! (First make this agreement) If I grant you this request, will you not ask for anything else? He will say: No, my Lord! He will make a covenant and promise with Allah that he will not ask for anything more, but (later on) his Lord will excuse him because He knows that this (servant) will not be able to be patient. Allah, the Exalted, will bring him near to that tree, and he will rest in its shade and drink its water. Then he will see another tree more beautiful than the first. He will say: O my Lord! Bring me near to that tree so that I may drink its water and rest in its shade, and I promise I will not ask for anything more. Allah, the Exalted, will say: O son of Adam! Did you not make a covenant with Me that you would not ask for anything more? Now if I bring you near to that tree, will you not ask for anything else? He will make a promise not to ask for anything further. But his Lord will excuse him again because He knows that he will not be able to be patient. Allah, the Exalted, will bring him near to the (second) tree, and he will sit in its shade and drink its water. Then he will see a third tree more beautiful than the first two, which will be near the gate of Paradise. He (showing impatience) will pray: O my Lord! Bring me near to this tree so that I may enjoy its shade and drink its water, and I will not ask You for anything more. Allah, the Exalted, will say: O son of Adam! Did you not make a covenant with Me before that you would not ask for anything more? He will say: Yes, my Lord! This is my last request; after this, I will not ask for anything else. But his Lord will excuse him, because (in the future) he will see things upon which he will not be able to be patient. Allah, the Exalted, will bring him near to (this third tree). When he reaches near it, he will hear the voices of the people of Paradise and say: O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise. Allah, the Exalted, will say: What can prevent Me from accepting your supplication? (I am All-Powerful. O My servant!) If I give you the world and another world like it, will you be pleased? That servant will say: O my Lord! Even though You are the Lord of the worlds, are You making fun of me? (This does not befit You.)”Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) laughed and said: Do you not ask me about why I laughed? They said: Well, what is the reason for your laughter? Tell us. He said: (In fact) the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laughed at this point in the same way. The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) asked: O Messenger of Allah! Why did you laugh? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When that servant said: (O Allah!) Even though You are the Lord of the worlds, are You making fun of me? Allah, the Exalted, laughed, so I laughed too. Then Allah, the Exalted, said: I am not making fun of you; I am able to do whatever I will.”

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The description of the person with the lowest rank among the people of Paradise is as follows. Allah, the Exalted, will turn his face away from Hell and towards Paradise, and he will see the likeness of a shady tree. He will say: O my Lord! Bring me to that tree so that I may rest in its shade. Allah, the Exalted, will say: If I do that, will you not ask for anything more? He will say: By Your honor, I will not ask for more. Allah will bring him to that tree. Then he will see another shady and fruit-bearing tree, and he will say: O my Lord! Bring me closer to that tree so that I may enjoy its shade and eat its fruit. Allah will say: If I grant you this, will you not ask for anything more? He will say: By Your honor, I will not. Allah will bring him there. Then he will see the likeness of a tree with shade, fruit, and water, and he will say: O my Lord! Bring me closer to that tree so that I may rest in its shade, eat its fruit, and drink its water. Allah will say: If I do that, will you not ask for anything more? He will say: By Your honor, I will not. Allah will bring him to that tree. From there, he will see the gate of Paradise, and he will say: O my Lord! Bring me to the gate of Paradise so that I may sit under the shade of Paradise and see the people of Paradise. Allah will bring him to the gate of Paradise. He will see the people and the blessings of Paradise and will say: O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise. Allah will admit him into Paradise. When he enters Paradise, he will ask: Is this place for me? Allah will say: Wish! He will wish, and Allah will remind him to keep wishing for such blessings until his wishes are exhausted. Allah will say: You will have what you wished for and ten times as much. Then he will enter Paradise (into his palace), and two large-eyed maidens (houris) will come to him and say: All praise is due to Allah who gave you life for us and gave us life for you. He will say: No one in Paradise has been given what I have been given. And the person with the least punishment among the people of Hell will be the one who will be made to wear two sandals of fire, and because of their heat, his brain will begin to boil."
