Mukhtasar Sahih Bukhari
About Ibn Abbas (RA)
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) embraced me to his chest and said: "O Allah! Teach him wisdom (Qur'an and Hadith)."
In another narration, (Abdul Warith bin Saeed says) that he said: "O Allah! Teach him the Book (Qur'an)."
Virtues of Khalid ibn al-Walid (RA)
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) informed about the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Zaid, Ja’far, and Ibn Rawaha (may Allah be pleased with them)... and the rest of the hadith is mentioned which has already passed. (See the Book: On the Description of Funerals... Chapter: The one who informs the relatives of the deceased about his death.) Then he said:“Now it, that is, the flag, was taken by one of the swords of Allah (Sayyiduna Khalid bin Walid, may Allah be pleased with him) until Allah granted victory to the Muslims.”
Virtues of Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfah (RA)
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying:“Learn the Qur’an from four persons: Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him)”—he mentioned his name first—“and Salim (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Ubayy bin Ka’b (may Allah be pleased with him), and Mu’adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him).”
Virtues of Aisha (RA), Mother of the Believers
Narrated from Ummul Momineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she borrowed a necklace from Sayyida Asma (may Allah be pleased with her), and it was lost. So, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent several of his companions to search for it. (On the way) the time for prayer came (and there was no water), so those people performed the prayer without ablution. When they returned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), they complained to him about this, so at that time the verse of Tayammum was revealed.... Then the rest of the hadith is mentioned, which has already passed in the Book of Tayammum.
Virtues of the Ansar
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Day of Bu'ath was a day which Allah brought before His Prophet (peace be upon him) (there was great wisdom in it). When the Prophet (peace be upon him) arrived in Madinah, the condition of the Ansar was such that division had spread among them, some of their leaders had been killed and some wounded. Allah brought that day forward for His Prophet (peace be upon him) so that when he arrived, they would accept Islam.
The Prophet’s (SAW) saying:“If I had not migrated, I would be one of the Ansar.”
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "If there had been no migration, I would have been a man from (the tribe of) Ansar."
Loving the Ansar is part of faith
Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“None but a believer will love the Ansar, and none but a hypocrite will hate them. So whoever loves the Ansar, Allah will love him, and whoever hates the Ansar, Allah will hate him.”
The Prophet’s (SAW) saying to the Ansar:“You are the most beloved to me.”
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw (Ansari) women and children coming from a wedding, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up straight and said: "By Allah! I love you more than all people." He said this three times.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates in one narration that an Ansari woman came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) carrying her child. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke to her and then said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, indeed I love you people the most." He said this twice.
