Virtues of Abu Talhah al-Ansari (RA)
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that on the day of the Battle of Uhud, when the Muslims fled leaving the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) stood in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shielding him with a leather shield (so that the arrows of the disbelievers would not hit the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) was a great archer and used to draw the bow with great strength. Two or three of his bows broke that day, and whenever any Muslim passed by with a quiver of arrows, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say: "Put all these arrows in front of Abu Talha." Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raised his head to look at the disbelievers, so Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, do not raise your head, lest any of the arrows of the disbelievers strike you. My chest is shielding you." And I (Anas, may Allah be pleased with him) saw (in this battle) Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyida Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) that they had lifted their clothes, exposing their shins, quickly carrying water skins and pouring water into people's mouths, then returning, filling the skins, carrying them, and pouring water into people's mouths (I saw their anklets). That day, the sword fell from the hand of Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) two or three times.

Saidna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I did not hear from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about any person who walks on the earth that he is from among the people of Paradise, except for Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him). Saidna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) says: And regarding him this verse was revealed:“...and a witness from the Children of Israel testified to something similar...”the complete verse. `Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I saw a dream during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) which I related to him. In my dream, I saw that it was as if I was in a garden and I praised its vastness and greenery, and in the middle of it there was an iron pillar whose base was in the ground and its top was in the sky, and there was a ring fixed at its upper end. Then it was said to me, "Climb up it." I said, "I do not have the strength (I cannot climb)." Then a servant came and lifted my clothes from behind, so I began to climb until I reached the top and I held onto that ring. Then it was said to me, "Hold it firmly." I kept holding that ring until I woke up from sleep. I related this dream to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said: "The garden refers to the religion of Islam, and the pillar refers to the pillar of Islam (the testimony of faith or the five pillars), and the ring is the firm handhold (al-‘urwat al-wuthqa), and you will remain steadfast on Islam until your death."

The Prophet’s (SAW) marriage to Khadijah (RA) and her virtues
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I did not feel as much jealousy towards any wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as I did towards Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), even though I never saw her. But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to mention her very often, and whenever he slaughtered a goat, he would cut it into pieces and send them to the friends of Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her). Sometimes I would say to him: It seems as if there is no woman in the world except Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her). So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say:“Khadijah had such and such qualities, and my children are from her.”

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) is coming to you with a dish of food or some drink. When she comes to you, convey to her greetings of peace from her Lord and from me, and give her the glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of a hollow pearl, in which there will be neither noise nor any fatigue (distress, etc.)."

Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Khadijah’s (may Allah be pleased with her) sister, Halah bint Khuwaylid, sought permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remembered Khadijah’s way of seeking permission and was startled by it, and said:“O Allah! (Is it) Halah?”Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I felt jealous and said,“Do you remember an old woman from the Quraysh, whose gums had become red (after her teeth had fallen out), who died long ago, and Allah has given you someone better than her in her place?”

About Hind bint Utbah (RA)
Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that Hind bint Utbah (may Allah be pleased with her) came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! (Before accepting Islam) there was no people in the world whose humiliation I liked more than the humiliation of your people, but today there is no people in the world whose honor I like more than the honor of your people." So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, I feel the same way..." And the rest of the hadith has already been mentioned.

Story of Zayd ibn Amr ibn Nufayl (RA)
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) met Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail (may Allah be pleased with him) in the (valley of) Baldah (at a time) when revelation had not yet begun to descend upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). A dining mat was spread before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but he refused to eat that food. Then Zaid said, "I do not eat the meat of those animals which you slaughter in the name of idols; I will only eat the meat of that animal which is slaughtered in the name of Allah." And Zaid considered the method of slaughtering animals by the Quraysh to be wrong and used to say, "Allah alone created the goat, sent down water from the sky for it to drink, and caused fodder to grow from the earth for it to eat, yet you slaughter it in the name of others besides Allah." He used to reject their (this action) and considered it a great sin.
