باب قضاء الحاجة
Hadith Number: 91
وعن سراقة بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال: علمنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم في الخلاء: ان نقعد على اليسرى وننصب اليمنى. رواه البيهقي بسند ضعيف.
Narrated Suraqa bin Malik (rad): Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) educated us about lavatory (manners) that we should sit on our left foot and keep erect our right foot. [Reported by Al-Baihaqi through a chain of weak narrators] .
Hadith Number: 92
وعن عيسى بن يزداد (برداد» » عن ابيه رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «إذا بال احدكم فلينتر ذكره ثلاث مرات» . رواه ابن ماجه بسند ضعيف.
Narrated ‘Iesa bin Yazdad from his father (ra): Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“When one of you passes urine, he should empty his penis three times”. [Reported by Ibn Majah through a weak chain of narrators] .
Hadith Number: 93
وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما ان النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم سال اهل قباء فقال: «إن الله يثني عليكم» فقالوا: إنا نتبع الحجارة الماء. رواه البزار بسند ضعيف. واصله في ابي داود، وصححه ابن خزيمة من حديث ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه، بدون ذكر الحجارة.
Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ): The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) asked the residents of Quba that what had earned them the Praise of Allah and they replied,“We use water after (cleaning ourselves with) stones.” [Reported by Al-Bazzar with Da’if chain of narrators] . and its Asl (original source) is in Abu Da’ud and At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih (sound) through Abu Huraira (rad) without mentioning the“stones”.]
باب الغسل وحكم الجنب
Hadith Number: 94
عن ابي سعيد الخدري رضي الله تعالى عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «الماء من الماء» رواه مسلم، واصله في البخاري.
Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (rad): Allah’s Mesenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“The water (of the ghusl) is due to the water (of sexual emission)”. [Reported by Muslim] . and its Asl (origin) is in Al-Bukhari.
Hadith Number: 95
وعن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: «إذا جلس بين شعبها الاربع ثم جهدها، فقد وجب الغسل» . متفق عليه. وزاد مسلم: «وإن لم ينزل» .
Narrated Abu Huraira (rad): Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said that,“If one of you sits between her legs (of a woman) and penetrates her, Ghusl (bath) is obligatory.” [Agreed upon] . And Muslim added:“Even if he does not ejaculate”.
Hadith Number: 96
وعن ام سلمة رضي الله عنها ان ام سليم- وهي امراة ابي طلحة- قالت: يا رسول الله! إن الله لا يستحيي من الحق، فهل على المراة الغسل إذا احتلمت؟ قال: «نعم إذا رات الماء» . الحديث متفق عليه.
Narrated Umm Salam (rad): Umm Sulaim, the wife Abu Talha said,“O Allah’s Messenger! Allah is not ashamed of the truth. Is a Ghusl (bath) compulsory for a woman when she has a sexual dream?”He ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) replied,“Yes! When she sees signs of liquid” [Agreed upon] .
Hadith Number: 97
وعن انس رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: في المراة ترى في منامها ما يرى الرجل، قال: «تغتسل» . متفق عليه. وزاد مسلم: فقالت ام سلمة: وهل يكون هذا؟ قال:«نعم، فمن اين يكون الشبه؟» .
Narrated Anas (rad): Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said about the precept of a woman having ejaculation during sleep like a man,“She should take a Ghusl (bath)”. [Agreed upon] . Added Muslim: Umm Salama said,“Does this happen (to a woman)?”He ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Yes, otherwise where does the resemblance (of a child to its mother) come from?”
Hadith Number: 98
وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يغتسل من اربع: من الجنابة، ويوم الجمعة، ومن الحجامة، ومن غسل الميت. رواه ابو داود وصححه ابن خزيمة.
Narrated ‘Aisha (rad): Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) used to take a bath from four things; after sexual intercourse, on Fridays, after extracting blood from his body and after washing a dead body. [Reported by Abu Da’ud and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih (sound)]
Hadith Number: 99
وعن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه- في قصة ثمامة بن اثال عندما اسلم- وامره النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ان يغتسل. رواه عبد الرزاق، واصله متفق عليه.
Narrated Abu Huraira (rad) regarding the story of Thumama bin Uthal when he embraced Islam: The Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) ordered him to take a bath. [Narrated by Abdur-Razzaq] . and its origin is in Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
Hadith Number: 100
وعن ابي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه: ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: «غسل يوم الجمعة واجب على كل محتلم» . اخرجه السبعة.
Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (rad): Allah’s Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said:“Taking a bath on Friday is a must for every adult”. [Reported by As-Sab’a] .
