Chapter: The Slave is a Shepherd
Hadith Number: 206
Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Each of you is a guardian and each of you will be questioned about his responsibility. So, the ruler who is responsible for the people will be questioned about his subjects, and a man is a guardian over the members of his household and will be questioned about his responsibility, and a servant is a guardian over his master's wealth and will be questioned about it. Beware! All of you are guardians and all of you will be questioned about your responsibilities."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim slave fulfills the right of his master, he will have a double reward."
