مسنَد عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عمَرَ بنِ الخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنهمَا
Musnad of Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 5025
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، وعبد الله بن بكر ، قالا: حدثنا سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن يونس بن جبير ، انه سال ابن عمر عن رجل طلق امراته وهي حائض؟ فقال: اتعرف عبد الله بن عمر؟ فإنه طلق امراته حائضا، فانطلق عمر إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فاخبره بذلك، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" مره فليراجعها، ثم إن بدا له طلاقها طلقها في قبل عدتها"، قال ابن بكر:" او في قبل طهرها"، فقلت لابن عمر: ايحسب طلاقه ذلك طلاقا؟ قال: نعم، ارايت إن عجز واستحمق؟!.
Yunus bin Jubair, may Allah have mercy on him, once asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, about a man who divorces his wife during her menstrual period. He replied, "Do you know Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both? He also divorced his wife during her menstrual period. Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, went and informed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about this. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Tell him to take her back, and then if he wants to divorce her, he should do so during her period of purity.'" I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, "Will that divorce be counted?" He replied, "Tell me, do you want to prove him foolish and ignorant?"
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 5252، م: 1471.
Hadith Number: 5026
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن يعلى بن حكيم ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" لا آكله، ولا آمر به، ولا انهى عنه".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I neither eat the lizard, nor do I command it, nor do I forbid it."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 1943.
Hadith Number: 5027
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا معمر ، اخبرنا ابن شهاب ، وعبد الاعلى ، عن معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن سالم بن عبد الله ، عن عبد الله بن عمر ، قال: اسلم غيلان بن سلمة وتحته عشر نسوة، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" خذ منهن اربعا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when Ghaylan bin Salamah Thaqafi accepted Islam, he had ten wives in his marriage. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "Select four of them (and divorce the remaining six)."
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، رجاله ثقات إلا أن معمرا أخطأ فيه كما سلف برقم: 4609.
Hadith Number: 5028
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا معمر ، اخبرنا الزهري ، عن سالم بن عبد الله ، عن ابيه ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا تتركوا النار في بيوتكم حين تنامون".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are about to sleep, do not leave fire burning in your houses."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح.
Hadith Number: 5029
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا معمر ، اخبرنا الزهري ، عن سالم بن عبد الله ، عن ابيه ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" إنما الناس كإبل المائة، لا يوجد فيها راحلة".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of people is like that of one hundred camels, among which not even one is fit for riding."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح.
Hadith Number: 5030
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا بهز ، ومحمد بن جعفر ، قالا: حدثنا شعبة ، قال بهز : قال: حدثنا عقبة بن حريث ، سمعت عبد الله بن عمر ، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الجر، وهي الدباء، والمزفت، وقال:" انتبذوا في الاسقية".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (the use of) pitchers, that is, dubba and muzaffat, and said: Prepare nabidh in water skins.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، م: 1997.
Hadith Number: 5031
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا بهز ، حدثنا شعبة ، حدثنا عقبة بن حريث ، سمعت عبد الله بن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" من كان ملتمسا فليلتمسها في العشر، فإن عجز او ضعف فلا يغلب على السبع البواقي".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever seeks Laylat al-Qadr should seek it in the last ten nights; if he is unable or becomes weak, then he should not be overcome in the last seven nights."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 2015، م: 1165.
Hadith Number: 5032
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا بهز ، حدثنا شعبة ، اخبرني عقبة ، سمعت ابن عمر ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" صلاة الليل مثنى مثنى، فإن خشيت الصبح فاوتر بركعة"، قال: قلت: ما مثنى مثنى؟ قال: ركعتان ركعتان.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The night prayer is offered in sets of two rak‘ahs. When the time of dawn approaches, then add one rak‘ah to them and perform Witr."
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 749، م: 473.
Hadith Number: 5033
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن الحكم ، قال: رايت طاوسا " حين يفتتح الصلاة يرفع يديه، وحين يركع، وحين يرفع راسه من الركوع"، فحدثني رجل من اصحابه، انه يحدثه، عن ابن عمر ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I saw Tawus raising his hands at the beginning of the prayer, when going into bowing (ruku‘), and when rising from bowing. One of his students told me that he narrates this from Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who attributes it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لإبهام الرجل من أصحاب طاووس الذى حدث عنه الحكم بن عتيبة.
Hadith Number: 5034
حدثناه ابو النضر ، بمعناه.
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.
