Hadith Number: 5385
Yahya bin Rashid says that we were ten men from the people of Sham who set out with the intention of Hajj and reached Makkah Mukarramah. Then we went to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), he came and said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever intercedes in a matter where Allah has prescribed a punishment, it is as if he has opposed Allah. Whoever dies in debt, his debt will not be paid with dirhams and dinars, but with good and bad deeds. Whoever argues while being in the wrong, and he knows himself to be in the wrong, remains in Allah’s anger until he withdraws from that matter. And whoever says something about a Muslim that is not in him, Allah will make him stay at the place of the pus of the people of Hell until he refrains from saying that.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went towards the camel pens, and I also went with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I was on the right side of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). After a short while, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) appeared coming from the front. I moved from my place, and he came to the right side of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I was on the left side. Then Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also came. I again moved from my place, and he came to the left side of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the camel pens, there were some waterskins there in which there was wine. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me for a knife. That day I came to know of something called a knife. In any case, at the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), those waterskins were cut open. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Curse is upon wine, its drinker and the one who serves it, its seller and buyer, its carrier and the one for whom it is carried, its presser and the one for whom it is pressed, and upon the one who consumes its price.”
